  1. Thanks. Appreciate your feedback.
  2. Would the stub shaft with actuator swap from my current truck, to an older housing? I have found a cheap 2003 3.73 front diff and would re-gear the rear to match.
  3. I have a 2014 Sierra 1500. What years of front diffs would swap to my truck? Specifically would the 1999-2006 and or 2007-2013, 1500 trucks swap in? Have anyone done this themselves? Thanks,
  4. Have a 2014 Sierra 1500 and wanted to know what years the front diff is a direct swap. I am wanting to find a one with 3.73 gear and will re-gear the rear end. I believe this will be easiest and cheapest option for me. Local shop wants $2,600 to re-gear and 3 days. I know I need to stick with 1500 series diff, but of what years? I know the 14-18 should fit, but what about previous generations?
  5. Looking at this dyno chart, would I really gain that much TQ from 2,700 to 3,00? Or is that just a shock load on the dyno and thats why the numbers go up so fast? I guess is what I am asking are they dyno that accurate in the low rpms when they start rolling on the power? I am considering the 6.2 intake swap on my L83 as the low end gains look impressive for towing at a light throttle crusing.
  6. Bumping this thread. My truck is still making this noise, it has not gotten any worse. Anyone else experiencing this noise?
  7. Is the alternator mounted up high or down low on these. I haven’t looked. from the grill area and under the hood the noise is very slight as the video shows. It’s much louder from the wheel well and loudest underneath.

  9. No normal idle and gas mileage and performance are normal. it does that more when it is warmed up. what is lower on the engine that would make that noise?
  10. What is this noise? From in front of the truck and under the hood the noise is very light. It’s louder from the wheel wells and is loudest from underneath, particularly on the passenger side. I sprayed the belts and pulleys with wd40 from the top while running and it did not change the noise at all. IMG_5826.mp4
