what my truck had the goodyears and they just changed them to continentals lol. about 2 weeks ago but i have not been able to test drive my truck because i work out of town i did drive it with the continentals for about 2 days it felt fine on some roads but on others it didn't. but i didn't have time to drive it that much. my truck has 6000 miles on it and i have had it for like 6 months i think. good years r not going to solve the problem cuz i had them tires

y would they want you to try out other truck if they r not going to swap it out they r dumb. yea i heard that it is a long process but F it. i turned my paper work in 2 months ago and called in a month after i did. they said that i had a case worker working on it and got a case # and his name. I haven't called to get an update but i will be calling him maybe this coming week. but i hear that i may take up to 4 months but this is new to me too. i recommend you do get lemon law involved man they r not going to fix this anytime soon. sorry to say

No they didn't. if they did they didn't tell me that. They did say they reprogramed the transmission.

make sure u take it up to 75 80 mph and push it a little hard to get to 75. don't floor it just push it a little hard if you know what im saying. if it dose not shake let go of the gas down to about 65 and then go back up to 75 80.thats how i fell my truck start shaking.

I have had my truck for 7 months now and taken this truck to the dealer 6 times for the same vibration issue. first they balanced the tires, that did nothing then they changed 2 tires out, they did a road force test on them and said 2 tires were bad well that didn't fix it. then they changed out 2 drive shafts that's not it ether so then they say its the differential, so they change that out too u can imagine how long that took, (4weeks) well that didn't fix the problem either. I got tired of this BS so I simply reported it to the DPS lemon law and field all necessary paper work. I guess that got their attention because after bout a week a lady from GM calls me said they were going to send an engineer to my dealer and drive my truck to see if it is shaking. SO I had to drive 5 hrs home (i work away from home) to meet with this guy. so when we meet the guy gets on my truck and is quickly apparent to him that it is shaking he quickly said its the tires. i said wtf they already changed 2 out. he said that goodyears are harder and have thicker side walls he recommended the continental tires because they are softer that's what he says. well i went home 2 weeks ago and had a chance to drive for 2 days then came back to work. when i drove it for the 2 days it felt like the shaking was dramatically reduced but can still fell some vibration on some roads to soon to tell. what i can tell you all is that when i get home i am just going to get on my new 2014 Silverado and drive it to the FORD DEALER AND WILL TRAID IT IN FOR A FORD. happy to pay the extra $$ to get it changed out. This experience with chevy has been very annoying and very inconvenient for me. i have lost a lot of time and money.... AND UP TO DAY NO ONE HAS CALLED ME TO SEE IF THE ISSUE IS FIXED BY THE WAY IT IS STUPED TO TELL US TO TAKE A BRAND NEW TRUCK TO A TIRE SHOP TO HAVE THE TIRES CHECKED OUT FOR ROUNDNESS WHAT KINDA DUMB SHIT IS IT THAT CHEVY SERVICE DONT HAVE THE KNOW HOW ON BALANCING A TIRE.. Update: well I picked up my truck on Thursday they changed the Diferencial on it. I don't know what gears it has but anyways I took it for a test drive and I no longer fell the vibration on the steering wheel. Now it's different it hard to explain but it it's feels the rear tires are unbalanced it has like a bounce to the rear end that I can feel in the driver seat and I can see it on the passenger seat. It almost feels like the road is rough and it starts doing it around 67mph I told the service guy and said I could be the frame flexing or road conditions and stated that they really don't know what else to do to it but that if I was still uncomfortable with it to take it back and they would see what else they can do to it. Well I took the truck anyways and yea it even dose that bounce thing on new roads I don't know wtf anymore or how to prove its the truck because they are saying it's road conditions.

Up date, I went to the dealer to see what's the story with my truck because it has been there for a month now and like I posted on my last post they were going to change the drive shaft for a new and improved one which they did and as I thought that did nothing. Now they are saying it's the Diferencial. They order a new Diferencial which is in back order. This has got me so pissed off you guys have no idea. I filed a complaint with the Texas department of transportation under the lemon Law. I feel that this trucks are lemons and gm is not going to figure it out so I want out of this truck I refuse to pay so much money for something I am not even enjoying. If this truck is not fixed soon I am fighting this out. I really don't have a clue on what it could be all I know is that this Thursday my truck is going to get out of the dealer and I will find out if a new drive shaft did the job, Have to wait and see I'll let you know if that fixes it.

My truck has the 20" Texas edition wheels

So after not hearing anything from my local dealer for 9 days i decided to call and see what's the status on my truck. The rep told me that a Chevrolet engineer came down to check the truck. The engineer said it was the drive shaft and order a new and improved drive shaft and gets installed next Thursday, this will be the third drive shaft they put on. The engineer said he was going to put it on and test drive it him self so let's see how that goes.

The way silver spaceship described the vibration on his truck is exactly the same way my truck is behaving down to the tee almost sounds like he is describing my truck. And he is right it dose not always vibrant something triggers it, and I know it's the truck because I have tried the same stretch of road with my wifes Tahoe at the same speed and it doesn't vibrate. By the way I have had up to 4 people lots of times with me in the truck and sill dose the same thing. At first I thought it was just me but after reading silver space ship comments and describe exactly what I was going through, now im not crazy lol. What dose it take to get this truck switched out for another one dose anyone know? Or am I SOL on this one? Y do I have to pay 50k for something that is give me headache what can I do about this?

Opps accidentally pressed reply. Ok first the dealer did a road force test on the tires and said one was bad they change it. Still the problem continues then they said they didn't balance the tires right. Then they said the drive shaft was the problem so they ordered another drive shaft and made it worse so they ordered a 2nd drive shaft. So I picked up the truck 3 days ago and it is still vibrating. Yes you bet that by now I am very pissed off. So I just dropped it off again today for the 4th time see what they come up with now. Unfortunately now I fell like maybe I made a bad choice buying this truck.
