  1. Been awhile since I visited. Lots of water under/over the bridge. These are the last pics of the Chevy SilverNali I will post. After having her 10 years, I sold her yesterday. She was a good girl..87,760 miles of solid performance. No leaks, no issues. I replaced her with the enemy..a 2018 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road. All my best to all y'all here in GM land.

    Bumper trimmed

This is how much I had to trim to get the bumper to slide back and clear the frame horns.

Notice how the bumper sits about 5 inches too low. My brackets raised it 4 1/2 inches to meet the grille with about a 1/2" gap.

the conversion is easy to this point. SIerra fenders, hood, light mounts etc all bolt on. The bumper is the issue. Custom brackets had to fabbed out of 1/8 inch steel. I will post pics of the brackets soon. The lower right and left denali outer bumper brackets do work with a little help to stabilize the whole enchilada. Fog lamps are different. Denali uses 27 watt 880's and 2500HD uses larger 45 watt bulbs with different pig tails.

It would be best 1/2 inch farther back, but then the frame horns would show through the bottom of the bumper. No more cutting. I can live with this fit.

After creating the upper brackets, this is the final fit. The frame horns do extend out farther on the 2500. I had to cut some of the hidden bumper support areas to be able to slide it back to an acceptable location.
