    I've always loved Vettes. My 2010 is my 3rd one, and you're right... they are so much fun to drive! Especially if you're hittin' the twisties down around Eureka Springs AR in the early fall... THEY CORNER LIKE THEY'RE ON RAILS! PS... I love your coil setup!

    If she thinks that's loud... wait til the first time you hammer it! My wife had a "Holy-Shit" moment the first time I did! There's just something about the sound of an LS3....

    Not a bad price on that Cor-ver-ado. Those Beemer dealerships don't know dick about Vettes. (Except for the dollar signs)... That Beemer logo in the background is the only one I recognized.

    WoW is also in KC this weekend. A couple of my buddies went last night. I have a pretty busy weekend... don't know if I'll make it. But I've been every year for 10 years, so I've probably seen most!

    That's pretty typical of shop-bent pipe. I doubt if you're down on power. Just too quiet, like my 22" Magnaflow was. When I went to the 14" Magnaflow, I "perceived" it to have more power, just because of the sound. But, again, I'm not convinced there was any gain. If you want HP gain, put some E85 in it! Wow!

    Call your exhaust shop and see if they still have that pipe with the valve and resonator. They can put it back on and probably fix the problem without changing mufflers. Third cat, I don't know how much that muffles the sound, but probably some.

    Did they remove the "flapper" valve and the resonator? That will make the truck quite a bit louder also. They are there to help eliminate drone.

    I took my truck with the 22" Magnaflow back to the exhaust shop and told him it sounded like a Prius. I couldn't hear the exhaust sound at all. Just barely louder than the factory exhaust. You said your Magnaflow was 18". Are you meaning the overall length including the inlet/outlet pipes? If so, it's a 14", which is pretty loud. That's what I switched to. The length of the casing is normally how the muffler is measured.

    I have 4 boys. Obviously all grown. None of them ever had even a slight interest in muscle cars, Vettes, sports cars, etc. But they are all Truck Guys now. 3 Fords and a Ram! (Didn't want to be too much like the old man!)

    Got it cleaned up after yesterday's 100-mile "Salt-Dust-Cruise"... It's pretty rare here in KC to be able to get the Vettes out for a road trip in mid February! 70 and sunny here yesterday. (I may do it again today; that way I get to clean it again!)

    Ah, yes, I remember that post... "Embrace the DRONE!" I believe I quoted you on that a few times! Yeah, I like the double flapper idea. Be sure to file a quick patent application. That way, when GM decides it's a good idea for all trucks, you'll be sure to get your cut!
