Looking forward to the Brickyard. Wish I was there! FYI... Street Car Takeover is in Indianapolis this weekend. It's an event that is in multiple cities including KC, Indy, Denver, St. Louis, etc. etc. etc. I think 15 cities in all. Justin Kieth is the owner/organizer of SCT. He's a friend of mine from KC. The event usually includes a Dyno day... tune and 3 dyno pulls for $xx.xx. Saturday car show (up to 4000 cars!). Sunday drag racing at one of the local tracks. (Also possible extra curricular street activities late Saturday night... ) https://www.facebook.com/streetcartakeover http://www.streetcar-takeover.com/ (this website is at a "crawl" tonight!) Anyway, you might want to take a look at the car show on Saturday! LOTS of late models... always a good time! This is a picture of the carshow at SCT-Kansas City. This parking lot would only hold about half of the cars registered. Next year they have KC Chiefs Arrowhead Stadium!!!

My buddy "Z06 Terry" is a vinyl guru... I just got back from his house where he added my "5D Carbon Fiber" vinyl hood stripes. He started with a 24x60 sheet and did the cutting with vinyl cutting tape. Exact match to the rear spoiler. I think they turned out great. I own him a case of beer.

The XLR belongs to a good friend of mine. I told him it sounded like a Prius. So I helped him put Corsa Exhaust on it!

Went to our weekly Saturday night cruise tonight. 800 muscle cars there tonight including these guys...

We've had more rain than Seattle. Sucks.

I've never seen a summer like this. We normally have "mid-summer drought" by now. I'm still mowing twice a week (between downpours!) Saturday night cruises have been pretty good. Only one rainout since April. This Saturday is supposed to be 90 and dry. There will be 800 cars there!

Chevrolet only made 27 of the Cyber Gray Convertibles with black wheels and Red and Black Heritage leather interior. Guess what... there were 2 of them at this event! I don't know if you saw the other one, it had a wind-screen behind the seats.

Hey thanks Ryan! Yup, that's me an my wife Pam. Right behind the pace car. Usually on these road tours, we will go way out in the country to some small towns, and between them, on the back roads, we can get 'em up to 90 or 100. Not this year! WAY too many cars... and the car in front was going WAY too slow! Police were very good, cooperative, having a good time, and some actually encouraging us to rev and burn out. I got 3-4 good burnouts for the crowds, made a couple high speed passes, but just too crowded and dangerous to do anything stupid! Thanks again for the pic. PS... I didn't really light-em-up, because those Michelin Run-Flats are $750 a pop!

OK, finally got some pics of our Corvette Weekend in Indy. Ryan, sorry we didn't have a chance to meet up, but every day was pretty full of activities. Track laps, Gold Tour, vendors, Z06 rides, parade, and almost 9000 Vettes to drool over.

We drove to the Bloomington Gold Corvette Show in Indianapolis this weekend. About 1100 miles round trip, great weekend! Mine was one of 8,750 Vettes at the show.

yeah I'm pretty sure they did. They gave us a postcard that had the website where we could go and look at the pictures for optional purchase.

Here we are at Indianapolis motor speedway going into turn one. Hit 100 on the back straight. In the rain! Many more pics on Sunday night. Over 8,000 Corvettes registered. Not sure how many will show up with the semi rainy weekend.

I bought a set of OEM CK164's off eBay. Shipping Friday, will be here mid-next week. Not selling the chromies, I just like having 2 sets of wheels/tires. Wheels and tires are my weakness.

I have a set of those 22's coming next week! Are they the GM CK164? or Aftermarket?

I have a Silverado, GMC Acadia and a Vette. Pretty much all gas-hogs. My neighbor just bought a new Prius. Gotta be shakin' his head at me! (Probably reading this forum too!)
