  1. I haven't posted in a long time... Today I put on some Ridge Grapplers 305/45/22 on GM Replica Wheels (ebay), no spacers, 2-1/2" ReadyLift, No rubbing.
  2. GM marketing people are smart enough to know that "If you slap a sticker on it and give it a 'Special Edition' nameplate, somebody's gonna buy it". It's a fact of life, special editions sell.
  3. Your custom leather really looks good. As far as exhaust goes, there is a whole section on aftermarket exhaust, literally hundreds of threads. These trucks are "inherantly quiet". Meaning that they are so well insulated and, with the 3 cats, it's hard to get any sound through there! I have the Flowmaster 10, with no flapper valve and no resonator, but it's pretty loud. I'd suggest reading through some of the exhaust threads to get some ideas.
  4. I have to agree. My 2014 is the best truck I've ever had. Possibly best VEHICLE ever had! Not one problem in 3 1/2 years and gets 23 mpg highway. BTW..... Nice Rubber!
  5. I would never have bought it without a cup-holder.....
  6. Hauled this home. JD Z345M Zero Turn. If I had known how much fun mowing could be, I would have bought one of these years ago!
  7. You don't need to turn off caps lock. Yell if you want.?
  8. If you remove all three Cats it's going to be Extremely Loud. If it's a V8 it will sound like a race car, if it's a V6 it won't sound good! Also removing the two primary cats will definitely throw a code showing that your oxygen sensors are not working correctly. The only way to get rid of those codes is to have a tuner turn off the rear oxygen sensors. It will also stink.
  9. Removing the flex fitting won't change anything. It's only there to absorb exhaust pipe vibration.
  10. No, the third cat is not monitored. You can remove it with no consequences and no codes. Unless you live in California where it will not pass inspection without it. I always say that these trucks have six mufflers. 3 Cats Flapper Resonator And a muffler the size of a school bus. It's no wonder they sound like a Prius!
  11. Very well stated. I've had people say, "This is too dang loud! How can you stand it?!" And Others say, "I thought you were going to put exhaust on this thing, I can't even hear it!"
  12. I have not read all 724 pages and 10,000+ posts in this exhaustive thread. I do have one question. Is the vibration issue only a problem in the 1500 Silverado/Sierra or are there issues with the 2500HD as well?
  13. That is pretty remarkable that an excess of trans fluid could cause a vibration in the steering wheel. Good luck with the fix!
  14. Detailed the interior. 2014 looks brand new. If you haven't used 303 Aerospace Protectant, I would highly recommend it. Leaves a factory, non-greasy finish and SPF rated.
  15. Haha! I wish my Vette sounded that good!!!
  16. Did I "guilt-trip" you with my bug-strike comment? Looks GOOD!
  17. LOLzzzzz.... I love it when my wife takes the Silverado on her short trips around town. I always wait outside while she drives up the street and I tell her to get on it when she gets to the corner! Love that Flowmaster! This is great... thought I was the only one! (I do the same thing with the Vette!)
  18. Okay here's one of the things that frustrates me about GM. You have a Duramax Denali, one of the best-equipped and most expensive trucks on the market. It has led daytime running lights, HID headlights that are white, LEDs on the interior, LED mirror lights, and then they still put the cheap incandescent reverse lights and cargo lights on. Why not do it right and just put LEDs everywhere? But instead they make you go out and buy aftermarket and struggle to find ones that match the other lights exactly!
  19. Have you tried them at night? I think they're really bright and the color is exactly the same as my 6000k LED headlights. I bought them based on the near-5-star reviews and I've been really happy with them. But I do understand that some people don't like the blue-ish tint. Pretty extreme color difference from OEM halogen! (Most LED manufacturers describe 6000k as "White with a Blue-ish tint".)
  20. You're probably right. I don't do much highway driving so I rarely see bug-strikes...
  21. I have to ask. Are those rock chips?
  22. Yeah, the Cherry Bomb Extreme is a chambered muffler much like the Flowmaster 10. I don't mind drone at all, in fact I actually like it! There are members all over the Forum right now shaking their heads!
  23. LOLzzzzz... With that truck, no one is going to notice your "Grandpa-Mod". Badass truck. (PS... you already shaved off some years with the LIFT, Fuel Mavericks, and 35's!!! )
