    Good question???? that is the only OTA update I have ever received, since I bought the truck in September of 2023. I was sitting in my recliner and I got a notice on my phone via the mychevrolet ap. The truck was parked in the garage and off at the time. I went out and started it and the update was there and it installed OTA. I do have an ONSTAR plan, but the truck does connect to my home Wi-Fi.

    As I posted earlier I got the radio updated with 175. If I remember correctly I had some minor problems after having it done at dealership, nothing major, volume controls on back side of steering wheel did not work and something else, but I cannot remember the details. Took it back to dealer and they repeated the update and no problems since. I just got an over the air update and everything seems to be working just fine.

    Prior to receiving the update my radio would read my text messages to me, that I receive on my iPhone , then ask if I want to reply. It no longer asks if I want to reply, anyone figure out how to enable that??

    Has GM stopped doing OVER THE AIR UPDATES? I have a 2024 Silverado, LTZ with the 3.0 Duramax, that I have had since last September. Every once in awhile, while I am connected to my home network I check for updates , but I have never had any and I also have not had any notification of random updates, like I had have with previous Silverado's I have owned.

    You could have saved yourself probably $10,000 by going Silverado LTZ and gotten Z71 package, with factory bed coating and 20 inch shinny wheels.

    Anybody received any OTA vehicle software updates on a 2024 Silverado or Sierra 1500. I have received some google play store and apps updates, but nothing as far as vehicle updates.

    Def consumption is somewhat elusive, I am thinking about 5 gals of DEF for 6000 miles. The next time I fill up my DEF tank I am going to note my mileage and I am going to track it. I am pretty sure that 5 gals per 6000 miles is pretty close estimate and as of cost I realize you can get DEF at multiple prices at multiple facilities, but I have filled my truck with AC DELCO DEF that I bought from my dealership at $17.00 for a 2 & 1/2 gal jug

    GETGONE, I guess maybe you did not read my topic, I knew the earlier models had problems, I went through it with my 2019. But I thought maybe GM had fixed the problem, but my 2024 Silverado is a leaking and I had not seen any post of newer models leaking

    Am I the only one or is nobody paying attention to the possibility of their rear window leaking? My 2019 Silverado had the dreaded rear window leak and when I bought this 2024 Silverado CC I just figured that GM had corrected the problem but nope, it is leaking almost exactly the same pattern as the 2019. Everybody should start looking at the inside back glass of there Silverado or Sierra, the inside glass leaves a tell tale sign if it is leaking.

    I see everyones post on their fuel mileage with their BABY DURAMAX. I have attached a picture of my vehicle reported 450 mile running average. I live in Northern Indiana, so it is cold, my miles have been a combination of city and road. I will say I am pretty pleased with mileage vehicle reported and I would like to report that my actual mileage has been a little better at 25.3 mpg, with the old fashion way, mileage divided by gallons used.

    Anyone using the my Chevrolet app and have the 3.0 Duramax? Just curious if your app shows DEF level. It seems that some people have it and some do not. Not sure if it applies to 2500's and not the 1500's or maybe the GMC'S get it and the Chevy SILVERADO'S do not.

    Just placed the order on Thursday, 5/11/23. There is no code number listed on the website chat, just says "dealer submitted order not offically accepted by General Motors".

    new dude, if I have placed order for 2023 silverado, received six digit order number and checked on status of order on chevy.com. It says "order submitted by dealership, but not yet officially accepted by General Motors" Do you know if this is just normal because of early in process or should I contact my dealer.

    I am interested in ordering a new , 2023 1500 Silverado with the baby Duramax, anyone have any idea on GM's cut off date for accepting orders?

    What dollar amount are dealers wanting to order new Silverado's and can you refuse taking delivery of ordered Silverado, if it comes in with different specs than you ordered.

    the 2020 and the 2019 Silverado's have different radio's, the 2020 comes with the 360xl Sirius XM and my 2019 just has a plain SIRIUS XM hd radio, put it will pickup AM and FM HD channels, just scan in your local area.

    Hey , can anyone out here take a look at the attached photo and tell me if the shiny cap on the top of the RANCH body, where the shaft extends from the body is part of the RANCHO or part of the mounting hardware.

    FYI, 2019 silverado's and 2020 Silverado's have different radios, thus the software you read in the about screen will be different.

    I have the IOT radio in my 2019 LTZ Silverado, I have had several OVER THE AIR UPDATES since purchasing it new, in fact I just got one yesterday which it says was an ONSTAR UPDATE 6.6. I took a picture and attached it showing all the updates.

    2019 are not left in the dust, but it seems it has to be updated at dealer with usb, 808 version. There is a tsb bulletin on it, I can say mine has been working great since having it done back in October. All my contacts load, connects to iPhone, and I have not cussed at truck over radio problems since having it done.

    I have watched for the the last year and a half, all the complaints for phone connection problems, all contacts not showing up, and screen to bright when in reverse, but in the last few days I have seen no replys concerning V808, supposedly a fix for a lot of these problems.
