dealer had my truck for 4 days for recalls and the radio PI1288A. I asked them to order the module told me that they would have to check to see if it needed the module. told them that PI1288A states all early built trucks mine was built in July 2013 (can't get much earlier then that) . So far radio seems better.

I ordered them right from gm. the dealer might tell you need a VIN#. I looked on a dealer web site for trucks with black window trim and painted door handles and used there VIN

Just a heads up i replaced my fog bulbs with LEDs, the static in the radio when lights were on is crazy. i had my truck in the dealer for the radio issue and they removed my LEDs and put in factory bulbs. static went away (but the reception issue is still there) . Dealer said the problem was solved. Sent an email service manager 2 days later telling him the reception issue is still present.

I got my truck back last night, they replaced the seat clip from a service bullitin. So far so good. If it only didn't take talking to the General Manager to get it done.

I got my truck back last night, they replaced the antenna base and cable. Also told me my LED fog lights where causing the static. Radio is better but the constant HD switching is annoying.

I took my truck in last week, after being contacted by the general manager and te service manager. I went as far as sending this Forum link to them. I was told that my antenna base was stripped out and it was losing ground. This is after i told them my reception was worst when the fog lights were on. That was the 3rd time i took my truck in. The first 2 times i was blown off like i was nuts. So they order the parts along with the parts to keep my seat from moving (2nd time for that, 1st time i got the your nuts look). Sad part is that i had to get the general manager involved. So i take my truck back next week, i'll keep you posted.

I actually recieved a call from the general manager of the dealership. I have a friend who knows him, told him my experienced called me to make things right. so i'm taking my truck in next week. i'll let you know how i make out

Had my truck in the dealer on Friday. Service manager tried to explain the raidio reception was the HD cutting in and out. I stopped him mid sentence and told him the reception is llike a car from the 70's. He was receptive to checking into it further. said never heard of this complaint before. between the radio and the seat moving it is like they cant be bothered

I had my truck in on Friday, oil change, tire rotation, trans recall, seat movement and radio reception. oil was changed, tires rotated. Recall was not necessary. I was told they tightened the seat and the radio reception that is change another issue. I made my appointment 2 weeks in advance the dealer called me at 330pm and said we didn’t get a chance to look at you truck. The oil change a tire rotation can get done. But the other stuff we might not have time. Then at 530pm he called and said everything was done. Seat still moves and the radio is still full of static

Im taking my truck in on Friday for the seat issue (i have power seats). Hopefully i don't get told it is normal like i did with the radio reception

not really, u have to take the inner wheel well lining screws out. not all of them just the ones down by the lights

I noticed today that when i turn on my fog lights my reception gets staticy, turn lights off it clears up. anyone else notice anything that sounds like a grounding issue

I spoke to a guy at a traffic light yesterday said he wasn't having any issues. he bought his truck a month ago Just wanted to add this bit of info. thank you for all you are doing to resolve this

No turning off HD radio reception is still bad. Thats bad news i also have a early build 2014 GMC (purchased on 8/22/13).

CCM 3" leveling kit, i bought it off of ebay $80.00. i also have air bags in the rear. i tow a 18' trailer.

Related to Post 332: will there be an official recall or is it one of those things where u have to take it and then they update the truck.

I also have the reception issue; I noticed when i turn on the fog light the radio is affected. This is possible grounding issue?

I also live in Bucks county, I took my truck to Faulkner GMC on Friday 1/27. Not sure thats the dealer that you go to, but i told them. they said they didn't have any issues. they told me it was the HD, i told them no it isn't. I also connected Jennifer T who is on this forum and she opened up a GM case.

TTook my truck in yesterday for scheduled maintenance and to have the recalls done. I have a GM incident number. I was told what I was experiencing was the HD signal. I explained that radio loses reception with or without the HD turned on. I sent a message to Jennifer from GM. Hopefully something can be done.

i also leave north of Philly, the radio sation with the strongest signal doesn't come in clear. i agree 50k for a truck and the radio is the worst.

I leveled the front with a 3" kit from CCm Offroad (The kit I used fit 2007-2014), I also have air bags in the back I tow a trailer and didn't want the back to sag. the tires are cooper neon ltz 305/55r20 I also painted the center caps of the rims to match the rims. De badges and tinted the windows.
