  1. That is a great looking truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Is somebody having a party in your neighborhood??!!
  3. I bought a billet grille emblem and had it powder coated "tractor red" and it's nearly a perfect match to my Victory Red truck. I don't know if powder coating shops all use the same stuff but if you can find something as close as I did, I think you'll be happy about the match if they have a lot of colors to choose from. Just a thought.
  4. I got them from eBay. Here's the LINK. The reason I even considered getting them is that they're injection molded red plastic so I wouldn't have to worry about chips. The color match is almost perfect...and as picky as I am that's quite an endorsement. I was also prepared to throw them in the trash if they didn't look good but, surprisingly, they look GREAT! I think they only come in Victory Red, Summit White, and Black. In my opinion, for what they actually cost they're worth every penny!
  5. Added color matched headlight/parking light housings. Sent from my iPhone 6s
  6. You're not the first one...I deleted mine from the order when I ordered my 2014 Chevy LTZ in October, 2013. The window sticker showed a $250 credit for rear sliding window delete when the truck arrived at the dealer. The aftermarket sellers make quite a profit if you compare the prices . Yours look really clean with that smooth rear window.
  7. I got a billet grill bowtie emblem and had it powder coated (to keep the chips to a minimum) and bought the tailgate emblem from a Chevy dealer here in town. They do it to most of the trucks they sell so I knew they must have them.
  8. Yes. I used the factory color touch-up paint that I got at the dealer.
  9. Looks good!! Tapatalk via iPhone 6
  10. I have no idea what they do but whatever it is it sure works!!! As far as mailing off the BCM, I believe that you can do that but not through GM but I'm not sure.
  11. I guess it depends on who you believe...some say "yes" some say "no". It would also depend on what you wanted to get warranted, i.e., is it related to the tune or not. Personally I decided to roll the dice and haven't regretted it for one minute.
  12. I did my Black Bear tune in April. I was using premium anyhow but the difference the tune made is just unbelievable!!!!!!! Throttle response and transmission shifting made me think somebody had jacked up my truck and run a race car under it .
  13. I didn't mean it "personal". Just a personal opinion and observation.
  14. I hope it doesn't break off the receiver and kill somebody riding a motorcycle!! It almost happened to me and my brother while riding back from Sturgis a few years ago. There was a small dip in the road along I-90 and we had been following a motorhome with one of those contraptions on it when it broke off and started skidding down the highway when it hit the dip. If we hadn't been in the hammer lane passing his ass it wouldn't have been pretty. He didn't even know it broke off because he just kept driving down the interstate. All it had on it was an ice chest and a bicycle. I'm guessing it was a lot lighter than your setup but it still broke off. Those trailer hitch receiver racks should be outlawed!!!!!!! It scares the $hit out of me just looking at it.
  15. One of the best looking trucks that I've seen on this forum (except mine of course) . Seriously, it looks GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I did the same thing to mine a year ago or so. I dug out the invoice so I could send you the part number. It's 23473702. This the new part number. When I got mine it was 23173538. No idea why they changed part numbers. Anyhow, be sure and tell them you don't want the emblem (unless you do)...more money. When I went to pick it up it had a new emblem with it so I told them to take it off the bill because I had one . Good luck selling the stock one. I tried selling mine on Craig's list locally (because I didn't want to mess with shipping it) for $200 and kept lowering the price until it was so cheap that I decided to just keep it!! It's now in my "parts bin" in my attic.
  17. I don't think it looks "cheezy" at all. Looks great with your truck color.
  18. THANKS to all who finally figured this out!!!!! I started the original post a got hammered quite a bit over "safety issues". I didn't ask about "safety issues" I just wanted to know how to keep the damn things from coming on!! As soon as I get time I'm gonna go get what I need and go for it! THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Try turning the LED bulbs over and plugging them in again. They don't work if they're plugged in "wrong". Ask me how I know .
  20. Congratulations Steve!!! Great looking truck!!
  21. The cover part # is: 12643295 and the emblem is 92068693.
