  1. Wheel offset is just the distance from the hub mounting surface to the wheel centerline. Factory wheels are generally in the positive. +20 to +30 . The smaller offset number you go and into the negative which gives more lip, the less tire you can run without rubbing. On factory wheels like yours you should be able to do the 305s with maybe minor rubbing on the wheel liner. Many people are running that size. Depends on which tire as well as each manufacturer tires are a bit different in size.
  2. Watch out for Inigo Mon"toe"ya...!!! [emoji23] [emoji23]
  3. I always check there and Ebay. Rock Auto is usually the cheapest. And a great resource for part numberers
  4. Nice buy. I'm a fan of rock auto. Great site.
  5. All good. May have to look those covers up.
  6. Truck seat bedroom couch?! And someone sleeps there? That remote cover cost that much?!
  7. Turned to full lock, how much clearance for a larger tire is there? To the sway bar and bumper corner? If you could look please. Thanks.
  8. Are the brackets from rigid or elsewhere? Thanks.
  9. Did you do yourself or have it done? Looks great.
  10. ^^^ +1 They look a lot better with rubber on them than off.
  11. Just my visual in my head... I worked last night and haven't slept. My humor game is off today.
  12. Maybe the screen name threw me off lol. The hair looks spot on though [emoji1].
  13. Different than I pictured honestly. ..
  14. In for the pics and ban war! [emoji38]
  15. Those look pretty good. not a bad price either.
  16. Great looking pics Toddboy23! Looks sharp.
  17. Installed some new Bosch Icon Wiper blades. Nothing too exciting. I was probably too excited in how easy they are to change out. Push one tab and slide out. Not that the older U turn hooks were difficult, but this was too easy.
  18. Stealth paint... works amazing [emoji38]
  19. Was upper 70's farther south down here... Little far to celebrate with a trip to Hy-Vee though . But in all honesty, I do miss snowy winters. Now I just need to go wash the truck... and detail...
  20. The 6x5.5 or 6x4.5 part is the wheel bolt pattern The first number is the number of bolt holes in the wheel or the number of studs. The second number is the diameter of the circle formed by the lugs (or bolt holes). These vary by manufacturer, GM, Ford, Toyota etc. For gm trucks, most models any way, they are 6x5.5 or 6x139.7 Same thing though, 5.5 inches or 139.7 mm This is for the half tons anyways. The HD's are 8 lug and are therefore 8 x diameter. So, for your truck, you would need a 6x5.5 or 6x137.9 bolt pattern. Be it 17x9 or whatever you choose. Also playing into your decision is wheel offset, backspacing, tire brand and actual size, but there is a lot of options covered in this thread of various sizes and combinations that should lead you to a good fitting setup.
  21. 8.5 only got me to middle of the dip stick marked zone. Going to wait a few days and check again. I stopped at 8 and kept measuring. Didn't want to go over 8.5 though. No msg on dic though.
  22. Did my first, post 24k mile, oil change. Dealer did free ones. Was suprised when I got under there that the oil plug was not even finger tight... no leaks but very loose. The oil filter came off by hand really easy too. I'm used to almost stripped screws from quick change places. Was also surprised it takes over 8 quarts on these trucks. Not a big fan of the oil plug being on a vertical surface. Always have to make a mess in my garage [emoji1] . Still nice to get hands dirty though.
  23. I actually got mine for 179 before rebate as a damaged box on ebay. 129 after rebate. was in perfect shape. Does cover the stake hole pockets though. But no complaints otherwise.
  24. Here are a couple. It is more difficult to roll up than a hard tonneau, but not bad. Cross rails are quick to remove and the tailgate rail has quick release screws.
