  1. Good to hear. I actually like the stock Z71 18's. Might powder coat or change them, but I like the design. All I need to do is put some more miles on now and wear out the SRA's. I can get clearance from "the bank" to get larger tires if I use up the factories first. 15xxx and counting. They look like they are wearing down quick at this rate though. I was trying to find your thread ealier. There is a lot of good info in that one. Thanks again.
  2. Thanks. I was looking at doing rc 2.5 level and zone 1.5. Total of 4. Not sure if these tires will make it. Wanted to run my stock 18s, but if a different offset is required to get away with the 295 70 18s, I will either go that route or try a smaller size.
  3. Finally found this one again, in the color match thread: The black one is amazing looking. If only 6.2....
  4. This is the setup, 4" combo, that I'm eyeing. Is your body lift RC as well or Zone seems to be the popular one. I'd like to do Toyo AT II's in 295/70/18, on my stockers for now. I've seen one truck with this on a 4" suspension and it works, mostly, offset caused slight rubbing. TIA.
  5. Good deal. I have to swing by HD in the a.m. for some supplies. Might have to go take a look. Thanks.
  6. Looks good. What bungees are those? They actually look worth a crap.
  7. You know the rules of the interwebs... clip or it never happened....
  8. Don't shoot the messenger... but, don't forget the pics
  9. It is a very sinister, menacing looking setup only the RC can pull off, imo. Make sure to keep us updated, with pics.
  10. If they would make the Cheyenne ^^^ , or even the 6.2 available, I would have gladly gone RC. RC's, especially in this new body style, just look right.
  11. Anzo's website says h3 low and h7 high http://www.anzousa.com/headlights/chevy-silverado-1500-2014-projector-u-bar-style-headlights-black-clear-amber.html
  12. All the people that have thus far towed, hauled and used their trucks as trucks have all left out the parts of the stories where they constantly needed jumped or had to recharge their batteries mid trip. All to keep up the theory that these trucks aren't just glorified station wagons. I guess GM is in on it too. They did put a secret spot for more power capability.... man this Kool aid is good.
  13. Didn't think of those. Never had a winch, but that, or camper would seem to validate it. I'm not sure of the capacity of the factory alternator though. Would the current system allow two batteries? Or upgraded alternator required?
  14. Complete guess, but I think the engine compartment will be/is the same for the 2015 2500/3500 trucks and they have 2 batteries (diesel), cost savings. same engine bay, no extra battery on 1500's. As far as adding a second one, a waste, unless you are adding a ton of lights, subs, tv's and aftermarket accessories. and then you'd still need a bigger/extra alternator to charge it. Or, spare battery for worst case, battery dies in middle of nowhere. Not really any reason IMHO.
  15. Looks great with 18s and all that rubber.
  16. I would think so as that's where it gets its open door signal from. Would be easier than pulling the under hood fuse if you needed to. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
  17. It is spliced and has an additional port so you don't lose ability to plug anything in. I have the hardwire and installed myself. The pnp would have saved a lot of time. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
  18. Very legit. Had a great experience with them. Would definitely ask about buying your own and fees from installer Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
  19. As a heads up, I'd look at quality bumper online for the steps. They have a 15% off coupon and free shipping. Also, no sales tax if you're not in AZ. I got mine through them for 970ish. I can't say for certain if they have the new p&p model, but I'd contact them. They were quick to answer emails and calls from me earlier. The savings could cover your install fee and some beer money.
