  1. That's unfortunate. I wanted to purchase a set for my fathers 2015. Did they mention if the license would ever be renewed?
  2. Sorry it took so long. I've not logged in for a while. http://www.americanbrotherdesigns.com/product_p/abd-1401i.htm They appear to have sold out of blue granite.
  3. You still need to shift into drive for an automatic transmission to work. It is the same premise as using your lock button to cause your mirrors to automatically fold in.
  4. My 6.2 gets 20-21.5mpg at 55-65 mph. Above that and it goes to 17-18. City gets 15mpg. I drive with a heavy foot. Why? This thing is a beast and so much fun.
  5. My two favorite toys. 6.2L silverado and 23' Seahunt Ultra.
  6. I drove this setup 203 miles today. Traveled the I85 and I95 from NC to Qauntico Va. Traveling around 65-70 for the majority of the trip I averaged 10.2 mpg. The boat weighs about 4400lbs without trailer. No clue what the trailer weighs. Anyway, the truck pulled the boat easily and felt solid on the road. It blows away my 09 5.3. As you can see my level kit did cause a rear sag.
  7. I'm seeing the same results on the highway. After 800 miles I'm averaging about 16.6mpg. That's driving in Wash DC and surrounding areas.
  8. My 6.2L Blue Granite LTZ Z71. I hope you are loving that engine. It is incredible. My thread and story is below. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/160053-my-62-inside/
  9. It rides nice. However, the ride in general feels more stiff than my 09 non leveled. I'll try and explain why I like it. -It doesn't roll in turns as much. -Recovery from a suspension hit is faster. So sometimes it feels like a small bounce. Think pot holes. However, my 09 felt like it was going to fall apart and lose control. -Ride on the highway is comfortable and smooth. I have no way of comparing it to RC as I've never ridden in a truck with that particular kit.
  10. Daystar 2" level. Michelin 275/60r20 AT2. 39.5" in front and 40" in rear to wheel well. The dealer installed the kit. The guy who installed it recommended this size tire to avoid rubbing in all situations. I've had no issues in 400 miles.
  11. I wanted add for those thinking of a level. 2" daystar with the michelin at2 run 39.5" in front and 40" in rear. I do not have the numbers pre level and tires.
  12. I picked the truck up from my hometown which is 209 miles from my house. I just finished the trip. I couldn't hear the tires. This was a concern as I always used michelin ms2 on my other truck. Those are awesome highway tires with no road noise. The truck handled well. To be honest I can not tell the difference between the two. On the other hand the cabin is extremely quiet compared to my 09 and the windows were up the whole time. I know gas mileage is a big concern for most people. 18.5 mpg and that's with a heavy foot. I've never owned a vehicle with this much power so I was thoroughly enjoying the passing capabilities.
  13. Thanks everyone. I think most people fall into the same category when purchasing a new truck. I read this forum and studied the threads religiously in hopes of guidance on mods. In fact the amount of information available often confused me. So I ended up only adding a few things that were must haves 'right now'. I couldn't be more pleased with the truck. RS Thanks everyone. 14. Hello all, Here is my new LTZ Z71 6.2L. I ordered this truck on Feb 4th and took possession on April 5th. The truck arrived at the dealership on March 27th. There is hope for you guys that ordered. The dealer added a 2" Daystar level with 275/60r20 michelin at2. I added tint and the color matching emblems with in hours of leaving the lot. So here are the pics. RS
