  1. I read in a earlier post about the numbers on Road Force Balance is now lower than 24, could someone come up with the reference or bulletin number on this. I just had mine rebalanced and being under 24, GM specs, they( I mean the service dept and GM customer service) closed my case because their within specs and that's all they can do. I believe mine could be wheels and tires from what the readings on the vibration analyzer read. I still have vibrations in my seat and wheel.
  2. With the vibration problems the majority of us are having at speeds 45-55 and 70 and above it has to something common to all models even with different options. Something I mention to my service manager was the power steering control module which has software and referred to as Smooth Road Shake Compensation. Its made up with different sensors feeding back to a module to computer, with bad information from sensors to module to computer could cause it to over react and cause maybe the problem were having.( maybe too sensitive )My service manager knew what I was talking about, but he has nothing from GM. So if we have anyone from GM reading this forum or any of our members know of anyone with connections to GM maybe they could have this checked out.( They might have to rewrite new software for our trucks)
  3. In searching the web for the problems were having I came across a TSB 03-03-10-007H OCT 13 Wheels/Tires - OE Tire Flat Spotting, Vibration, Shake . Anyone have access to TSB's?
  4. After road force balancing the tires on your truck, what does GM think the numbers should be? I've read where the Hunter machines used to balance your tires at some dealers are made just for GM problems they have. Of course the tech has to have the training and time to spend as dealers are always pushing.
  5. M1Tanker, Sorry I must have over looked your post. I feel that the software or sensors could be be too sensitive. I get a loose feel when I drive over a rough road that's what got me thinking about this Smooth Road Shake Compensation feature.
  6. Returned my 2014 Silverado Double Cab LT 4X4 back to the service department with less than 300 miles on because of shaking and vibration. They got rid of most of the problem by road force balancing and replacing two tires. I still get a vibration between 45 and 50 and again on the highway at 70 plus. My question because I don't think I read it any where on the forum, has anyone had a problem with the power steering control module feature they call Smooth Road Shake Compensation? It's controlled by software and sensors which are suppose to help reduce steering wheel vibration. Maybe it could be sensors or even software not doing the job it's suppose to do.
