Shake or Vibration Issues

You took the words out of my mouth, good for you; I'm going in Monday morning to pick up my F150 the sad part is GM just don't care about their customers anymore, they may have won the short battle but not the long haul, I been trying to count how many GM trucks and cars I have owned in the past and the best I can remember somewhere around 17 or 18 and they are willing to let loyal customers go over stepping up and fixing the problems they have with 2014/2015 truck line. So “ALMF” Hello Ford -

Colossus: I don't know anything about you, but from what you are saying here about believing what the dealerships is telling you, you must still believe in the “Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus” because the problem is real. I have been through the BBB arbitration process with a GM factory field serves engineer and GM regional manager setting in on the hearing, only to be turned down on the lemon law because I’m self-employed and using my truck for business but that’s a whole another story. But the arbitration processes the question come up about the 2014/2015 trucks having vibration issue and the GM factory field serves engineer spoke up and said that he covers 3 states and all the trucks he has been called in on, all have vibrations and that GM is aware of the problem but are only trying to fix the one’s that customers are not happy with and keep bugging the dealerships about the problem. P.S. just because they are not listed on the site don't mean they don't have a problem, I didn't buy my truck off the internet I bought it form a dealership and I started their first. I owned my truck 6 months before I found this site and posted on it so I know there are a whole lot more owners out there with the same problem that are not on this site. -

I have the same problem like you and thousands of others, but I don't know why you would wait till the warranty is over as far as I'm concerned they might as well not have a warranty if they are not going to fix problems that almost everyone on this site has what good is a warranty! -

I can just about tell you what they are going to do I have had mine in 8 times, 3 of the times with the Engineer out and they said that it is within factory specs just get used to it! I will tell what you need to do is keep track of the times that you have it at the dealer how long they have had it out of services make the dealer give you a print-out of what they did with date and times, because after they are done you are going to want to file a claim with BBB Autoline and all that paperwork is going to come in handy, Trust Me. -

New to the site but I have the same problem with my Sierra Crew Cab SLE 4WD that started at about 400 miles so it did not come out that way, and as for as the comments take it back to the dealer they will fix it, the LEMON Law, give it back to the dealer, that is all a crock of you know what, I have had my truck back the dealership 8 times for the same problem a vibration, they have had the factory engineers out three time and looked and worked on it, first time the engineer did a couple of things and said that it was up to factory specs and that was all he could do, I drove it home and before I was a block away I could tell that they did not fix it, when I got home I called the dealer back and told him so he called GM and the next week they sent out the same guy and this time he worked on 5 or 6 other things that he did not work on the first time after telling me they did all they could do the first time. Right there tells you they are lying if there was nothing they could do why come back and work on it again! But after he got done it was just like it was, I will try to list some of the stuff that they said they did, 1) rotated the tires 2) re-torque the wheels 3) balanced the tires 4) balanced the drive shaft 5) shimmed the rear end 6) checked the rear shocks 7) took off dealer installed MUD FLAPS! 8) checked the exhaust system, I know but they did 9) road forced tested the tires twice and replaced two the second time and re-balanced the tires. And I'm sure I have not listed all they have tried, and still I have the same problem, third time the engineer came out he had the regional manager with him and this time they drove my truck and 2 others they had on the lot and said that they are similar to mine and they was not going to do any more to my truck that they had done all they could or would do but if I had any other problems to bring it back. I filed a claim with BBB Auto Line and after all the times back to the dealership with no Joy they said I could go before an Arbitrator but more than likely because this was not a safety issue are it had not been out of services for long periods of time that the outcome would probably not be good. So I know now that after posting this I have as much hope in one of the readers fixing my truck as GM and that is sad that they just don't care anymore. I have been a long time customer of GM cars and trucks owning over 11 GM truck in the past 30 years. P.S. have the dealer buy it back tired that too he said he would buy it back and give me $32,000.00 for the truck that sticker ed for $46,000.00 because "wait for it",,,, because it had a vibrations in it ! -

Good luck with that, I filed with the BBB myself after 8 trips to the dealership with no joy the BBB told me the I could go before an arbitration but the fact that it was not a safety issue or had been out of service for long periods of time that it would not be a good outcome and by the way the closest place for arbitration for me was 5 hours away one way. And now GM don't want to talk about it anymore because I filled with BBB Auto Line -

You know the sad part of this whole thing is I got my 2014 in January and they had the problem then but rather than stop production and fix the problem they just kept on producing bad trucks! I mean come on, someone should step-up and say enough is enough and make them pay for all the junk they are producing! Know wounder the recall list is over 3 million and still growing. -
