Gents, I am in the market for a 2022 or newer GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate. I have driven the truck a few times and enjoy everything about it except for the seats. They are terrible and I have read the many posts/reviews online about how bad they are. I sat in a 2022 escalade the other day and the seats felt great. It had all of the same options as the sierra denali ultimate (heated/cooled/massaging seats). I know in the past many folks switched over the escalade interiors to the gm trucks. Has anyone switched in a 2022 escalade seat and above into a 2022 sierra/silverado yet? If so, was there any issues?

I wish I had more information. I ended up taking it in and I had the shop foreman ride with me. I wasn’t able to replicate the confused shifting. Not that it helps me, you or anyone for that fact but he did say out of 300 transmissions he has serviced for this problem only 2 he said shifted flawlessly. At this point, I am just going to drive it until something serious happens and hope GM comes out with a fix for it.

I had the flush done a few days ago. 200 miles and the shudder is gone. However, the truck still shifts like it is confused. The clunk is still preset. Taking it in Thursday for a TSB covering the valve body. I will report back after the fix is done.

This happened to me as well. Had it replaced under warranty.

After driving over a 1000 miles to New York and back over this past weekend I too have noticed mine is off to the left now. Not sure how. I was thinking I would take it to the dealer but I don't like dealing with them at all so I will probably just continue to drive it until it becomes a serious issue. It bugs the hell out of me as well.

Any details on these? Who makes the lights and how did you hook them up?

I have to say that the only real complaint I have with my 2015 Sierra Denali is the headlight output. Definitely going to look into this mod

I had my transmission reprogrammed by the dealer or so they said a few weeks. The clunking and sporadic shifting is back. Time to take it in again at the next oil change

Guys I just had my 8 speed reprogrammed for the second time at the dealer. It shifts great now. It was slipping from 1st to 2nd and sometimes it would slam into gear. I have just over 9000 miles on it. I will keep everyone posted

They just pull out. Give them a good pull and they should just pop out.
