  1. I love your pictures you take, what camera do you use and how do you get those great quality shots. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  2. Hello just got a member ship to a workshop and they have metal cnc machines and many other machines that can make truck parts. Does anyone know what material or what metal lift kits are made of Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  3. Hey I have the mcgaughy 7-9" lift set at 8" and want to upgrade the shocks in the rear first and eventually the front struts. Does anyone know what size shock I need for the back and what is a good company for them. Also for the fronts I see people running dual shock hoops or fox or king parts up front. Any info would be great Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  4. Hello, That bar looks sweet and was wondering where you got it or what company it's from? Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  5. I have the mcgaughy lift set at 8" and yes it does widen the track width in the front. I believe you need a 1.75"-2" spacer in the rear. A good thing about about a spacer that wide is that you won't have to trim studs. I still need to purchase some spacers for the rear. I will take measurements tomorrow if you want me to Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  6. Thank you very much I will have to try it in the am and I think the switches would look pretty cool up there with one on both sides so it doesn't ruin the symmetry of the layout Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  7. I am looking to put more lights on the truck and was wondering how to run the switch up into the area where home link is but my truck doesn't have it so I have room up there. I can take the panel off but I'm not sure how to get the a pillar or headliner removed to tuck the wire/switch behind. If anyone can give me some tips or has done it before that would be much appreciated. Thank you
  8. I'm interested in seeing if it works for us in the USA. I'm going in for an oil change tomorrow and I'm going to ask the dealer what they can do. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  9. Sounds like a neat product and would love to see some pictures if you don't mind Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  10. So I recently put the Mcgaughys 7-9" kit set at 8" on my truck and so far I love it, nothing bad to say about it yet. When I received the lift everything was great quality and also in great packaging along with color instructions. I was wondering for all the people running large lifts 7" plus what are you doing about shocks and struts? I am looking to upgrade the rear shocks and maybe install front coilovers but am having trouble finding shocks that are for 7"+ of lift. If anyone has any companies or links to find them that would be great. Thank you Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  11. Looks great but I need to see more of these. Was hoping to put mounts like this on. Let's see some pictures of the lights on the mounts also Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  12. Finished installing the lift and it rides pretty good so far
  13. Finally installed the front end of my Mcgaughy lift, hopefully will finish up the back tomorrow.
  14. Just got back from installing the front end took 5.5 hours so far with just two people working on it. Will have the rear end done tomorrow
  15. Just got my Mcgaughy lift in the other day going to be installing it this weekend.
  16. I was told from someone that sells both kits that they are very similar but I will definitely let you know if I have any questions. Also I just got an email that the lift was shipped and should be here on Monday
  17. Mine is not the magnaride but I am looking to do a 7" kit if the Mcgaughy kit doesn't ship this week I am probably switching to a FTS kit but I heard the FTS and Mcgaughy lifts are very similar in construction and I was looking for some tips on installing since this is my first time lifting a truck and tearing a front end apart. I am working on it with someone who has lifted a jeep before but never a truck.
  18. Wow sounds good and I ordered a 7-9" mcgaughy lift but its been a month so I about to order a fts kit. How do you like it? How does it ride? I am going to be lifting it with my friends help since I work at body shop we have all the equipment and lifts so it shouldn't be that bad. How was the install? Thanks for all the info
  19. Wow looks good what kit is that and what size? Also how long did it take to install?
  20. I am going to be installing a mcgaughy 7-9" lift kit with 35" tires and went to my gm dealer and asked a service manager if they can reset the computer for 35" tires and they said it would be okay. Do you think it would void the warranty or is it even possible for them to do it. I have been hearing a lot of people on the forum saying dealers won't do it.
  21. Here is my truck and so far I love it. Don't have that much done to it, just some LEDs in back end and amber hidmodshop lights in the fog light spot. I am getting a 7-9" Mcgaughy lift and 35" Atturo trail blades and fuel lethal wheels. Will definitely post more pics when the stuff is installed.
  22. Hello, I recently just bought fuel lethals 20x12 -44 offset with 35x12.5x20 Atturo trail blades and a 7-9" Mcgaughy lift. The lift is back ordered and I am hoping to install it the 18th. I will definitely let you know what cutting/trimming is necessary and whether it is trimming the fenders or metal. I thought my 20x12's looked big in person but I can't imagine 22x14's. I can't wait to see what you decide. Back to the point of the thread I didn't mean to hijack it, but I would not recommend doing a lift smaller than 6".
  23. I just did this mod with my 2014 Chevy Silverado in the same spots as it says to and the mod works great.
  24. Well I just tried this mod and the cargo lights with reverse lights on and when I completed both mods one of my rigid industries reverse flush mount lights went out and will not go back on even if I take out the diodes. If anyone knows why one of the lights is out please let me know.
