  1. Just ordered these: http://www.xenonpro.com/low-beams-h11-bulb-full-xenon-hid-conversion-kit-for-chevrolet-silverado-1500-2014/ Hopefully they're good. They have a "sale" on until tomorrow. Not a bad price I thought.
  2. I think I got the upgrade with the error cancellor built in because I paid $200 for everything, and I guess mine are 35w not 55w, guess I was mistaken, but regardless, I like them a lot. I just went to the store frustrated and asked what he recommended and left with the HID kit. Guess I didn't really ask a bunch of questions. But you could always call him if you have questions. Thanks man. Do you need to buy 2 kits, one for low and one for high?
  3. Well, if you can find a link to these online somewhere I will be ordering them asap. That yellow just isnt cutting it for me.
  4. Any reason in particular you added the battery? I was thinking of doing the same because I thought that it might help with cold starts, but I wasn't sure.
  5. Where did you find online how to install these? I looked and looked, but was quite unsuccessful. From what I can tell, it's not just plug and play, you sometimes have to cut your head light out a bit. If you can point me in some sort of direction that would be awesome.
  6. Hey guys, I've read through quite a few pages(enough to make me more and more confused at how this works). I was on the fence with buying the DDM HID kit, then read a few posts of dissatisfied customers/wait times, so I decided against them. I did however like the results of the Morimoto projectors from one of the first post. I'm wondering if anyone will be able to send me in the right direction to find a good projector and a good 6000k kit w/ cancellers, that may be an upgrade from the original stuff that was posted on here a year and a half ago. There must have been some advances since then....
  7. For anyone thinking of buying one.....do it. I just empied mine after less than 500 kms and wow.
  8. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Lightforce 170 HID lights. I really can't find a whole lot on them, but I'm kinda interested to see how they would stack up to Dually D2's.
  9. I did this about a month back and found that it is actually pretty easy. I do have a few reccommendations though.... Buy a wireless remote/harness. Then you don't have to bother running wires through into your cab or mounting a switch. Also, you can program your remote to your garage door opener for a cost of around $50 CAD. It was a no brainer to me. As for mounting the light, I just drilled holes in the cross braces that are behind the grill and mounted to that. The light I bought was a curved 33", and it just happened to line up perfectly to the spot in my grill. Taking off the grill isn't actually that hard. I just watched a youtube video and had it off in less than 20 minutes. 4 bolts on top, 2 on either side by the wheel well, then 4 underneath (2 of those are a bitch to get at). I've had it off twice now, so its getting easier. Hope this helps.
  10. Dang that looks good. You don't happen to live near me so that I can get that sweet $300 cash deal too do you?
  11. Any links of pictures and video to this perhaps.....maybe even for the sound. Thanks.
  12. Nice looking truck man. How were those side chrome pieces to peel off? I'm really debating debadging it all, but those are the first thing thats gotta go. Anyone know if these can be put back on easily if I gotta?
  13. I'm curious who made your light bar mount?
  14. How easy was it to tap into your reverse lights?
  15. Just wondering how well your can's working for you on your 6.2. I ordered mine about 2 weeks ago, should arrive any day now. Does anybody know if I am going to have a problem with my can if that moisture that I cant in it freezes in the winter time? That could be an issue couldn't it?
  16. Ya thanks. As soon as I posted that I figured that maybe I shouldn't be so lazy and do some research/looking around myself instead of making people do it all for me.
  17. Where do these hoses install to on a 6.2L engine? I'm hoping that I can do this myself.....even though I'm not completely mechanically inclined. If someone could take pictures or link to pictures for me (so I don't have to go though the 26 pages of this thread I'd be forever gratefull. I'm hoping to find a dual catch can to install....does anyone have a preferance? Thanks in advance!
  18. What Brand is that catch can?
  19. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/281351133472?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 that should get you there.
  20. http://www.ebay.com/itm/281351133472 hopefully this will link you there.
  21. Just do what I did, buy the wireless controller from ebay and train your factory garage door opener switch to the switch you buy. Just did it this morning on my way home from work. Im actually surprised that nobody has though of this before. I can post a link to the switch I bought on ebay if youd like.
