    I already did the FXR retrofit and I have a 2015.5 2500 hd It's not like a perfect swap there is a gap between where the hole for the housing begins and where the hole on the projector starts. So it doesn't fit flush.... other then that you still have to drill the bottom two holes out of the projector..... and you still have to cut a hole out of the back of the cap ....... I went with the amp to ds2 adaptors instead of the 90 degree ds2 and go the rubber housing seals to seal the hole. Other then that idk everything else seemed to be ok wiring went like a breeze

    I was told at TRS to order the 3.0" and in the beginning pages like 1-4 all said 3" I got the 3 and it fits like a charm !

    I decided to go with the amp to ds2 straight adaptor and go with the ballast housing seal instead to close up the hole. Makes it a little cleaner think. But everything works like a charm !

    Started the fxr retrofit kit around 4 o'clock in the afternoon didn't finish until 2am .......Thanks to Crf450r420 for the info a lot of help! Expecially the whole bi xenon spring and putting the screws underneath it! The light output looks amazing !!!! Glad I made the decision to move to the FX-R

    For the TRS FX-R kit..... Should i get the 90 degree ds2 ignitors or should i get the amp to ds2 ballast adaptors Which instead of the 90 degree the go straight out. wich would be eaiser to cover the cap with a gromit.......? And besides the capacitor link , the HD/H11 relay , The high beam splitters , The FX-R 3" projector The ballast and the XB35 bulbs. And is the XB35 Bulbs a good choice. 35w

    Are you talking about the fxr stage 3 kit with the ds2 90 degree ignitors ?

    Oh... that's crazy! ...... the caps you have made are the caps the help to cover the FX-R retrofit kit if I'm not mistaken. Right ? .. And I know this was probably answered somewhere but are the FX-R direct replacement for the stock projectors or are some people having issues ? TRS say they are direct and only had like 2 or 3 issues that are not direct and some people had to mod it.

    Awesome ! Are you having it 3d printed to production or molded?

    Any luck with the extended caps? Have you tested the new ones out yet?

    I'm willing to try these out for you as well! Getting a new 2015 silverado 2500hd this week and thinking about putting the fxr retrofit kit. Let me know if u have any extras laying around?
