Having traded off my 2015 GMC Sierra, I reset the tune back to factory. I now have a Diablo I2 tuner for sale. Have the box and all cords. These run about $369.00 new. Works perfect. $150.00 firm, and I'll ship for free. Thanks! (You can email me at [email protected])
Yes, I tuned it with a DiabloSport I2, which is now for sale!! The shifting improved, but not nearly as good as this Ram shifts. Not enough time in the seat yet to offer an opinion on gas mileage. It's really hard to keep your foot out of it when it pulls so hard and smooth! Ha!
I traded off my 2015 Sierra for a 2016 Ram Rebel. Overall, the Sierra was a very nice truck with the exception of: *Rough shifting 6 speed transmission *Absolutely horrendous headlights that they refused to take care of. The combination of the Hemi 5.7L with the 8 speed automatic is absolute magic! On top of it, the ride is very smooth with the air suspension. Not putting down my Sierra, but as far as driving satisfaction goes, the Ram is the winner. Hope everyone has good luck with their trucks, and I enjoyed my time here on this forum.
After searching for an answer on Google, I found another forum where a member said that he was experiencing the same issue. He turned on NFC in settings, and the problem went away. He did not know why this would affect it, but it did. So, I turned on NFC last night. On the way to work today, the issue is gone. I have no idea why this fixes the problem, but it apparently does. Weird...
Currently having an issue I can't figure out. My phone (Motorola Droid 2) connects to the truck via Bluetooth like it always has. But now, suddenly, when I make a call or take a call, the conversation no longer goes through my truck speakers or microphone! Can't figure this out. I've tried uninstalling the Intellilink, the phone app, and rebooted the phone several times. Still have the issue. We did recently purchase a 2016 Impala, and my phone app will remote start both vehicles, etc. I have no idea if this has any bearing on the issue or not. Anyone have any idea's? Not being able to make handsfree calls is driving me nuts! Everything else seems to work fine, such as Pandora. Thanks in advance for any help/ideas you might have. Donnie
Here is a link to the exact kit I bought: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/all-products/2014-sierra-morimoto-elite.html?carDisplay=2015%2BGMC%2BSierra&preselect=51812%2C50527%2C47338%2C48753%2C48136&preselect_restrict=1
Ok, so I did some driving in the dark last night after getting my HID kit installed. I'm happy to report that my ridiculously bad headlights are now a thing of the past! Why the hell didn't I do this sooner?
