  1. Here is a link to the exact kit I bought: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/all-products/2014-sierra-morimoto-elite.html?carDisplay=2015%2BGMC%2BSierra&preselect=51812%2C50527%2C47338%2C48753%2C48136&preselect_restrict=1
  2. Ok, so I did some driving in the dark last night after getting my HID kit installed. I'm happy to report that my ridiculously bad headlights are now a thing of the past! Why the hell didn't I do this sooner?
  3. Same exact experience here. Just had the Morimoto HID Kit installed. Went with the 35w model. Installer just called, and said it went very well. Can't wait until it gets dark, and I can see if my crap headlight problem is gone.
  4. No way they would do it. I provided them with info from another dealership in Wisconsin that did this for one of their customers. I was then advised that "A lot of people got in trouble over that", and they refused to do it. Tired of trying to get them to do something about it, so I'm going aftermarket.
  5. I tried that approach. The dealership and GM both said "no way".
  6. Thanks! No complaints whatsoever! After researching all different level lifts, I couldn't see any advantage of spending more for what is essentially a block of material. Some are made of plastic, and I didn't want to go that route. My $39 lift kit works just great, and after considering all, I think 2" is the way to go. Really love these tires too. Very agressive looks, without the harshness and noise of "mud tires". The worked awesome in the snow this winter, even though we didn't get much this year!
  7. Anyone tried these: http://www.ledheadlightspro.com/h16-5202-fog-lights-led-headlights-kit
  8. So, I had the dealership do their "headlight upgrade" to my truck. A little better than that complete suck ass headlights on this truck, but not much. Now, one of them went out already. I'm so sick of these. I clicked on the link you posted BootyHunter86, but it doesn't appear to be the right bulb? I have to do something about these awful damn headlights! Help!!
  9. We received about 6-7" of snow last night through this morning. Went for a drive with the KO2's. I found them to be simply outstanding in the very snowy and icy conditions. Pretty fun driving around in it, actually.
  10. Here ya go:
  11. Wow! Nice looking ride!
  12. I'll play. Here's mine:
  13. Thanks! I'm real happy with the way it turned out. I haven't noticed anything in the acceleration, but just a little bit on braking. The ride is still nice and smooth. If you really "try" to notice the difference, there is probably a slight amount of stiffness from the tires. These small trade off are will worth the great looks and increased traction come this winter. You won't regret it.
  14. I narrowed my choice between the KO2's and Duratrac's. Went with the KO2's in 275/70/R18 on my factory wheels. I think they look great!
  15. Gotta share my "score" that helped me get the new tires. I was on Craigslist, and a guy posted a gift certificate to Discount Tire that he won. It was a $500 gift certificate that he wanted $300 for. I couldn't dial his number fast enough! I offered $250. He countered with $275. I said "Deal!" He met me at Discount Tire (I love that place) where they confirmed that authenticity, and handed him $275.00. The manager looked at me and said "Man, that was a score!" I said yep, now let's put some real tires on my truck! Yesssss.........
  16. Very nice. Thanks for posting this! On a side note, one of the my subordinates just came into my office and said "Did you put new wheels and tires on your truck?" I said, just tires. He said "Man, that really changes the look of your truck!". Perfect.
  17. Well, here's the low angle front, anyway:
  18. The new skins are on! BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2's. LT275/70/R18 with 2" level kit. Much better....
  19. Yeah, I can't speak for the Silverado, but I had spots for all 4 brackets.
  20. Go Rhino! 4" Stainless Nerf Steps purchased from Autoanything.com. Great bargain, and very sturdy:
  21. I needed a tonneau cover for my new truck after putting in a Bedrug. (My 3rd Bedrug in as many trucks. Excellent product!) My funds were depleted after buying the truck, and I also needed a set of nerf steps. I went on Autoanything.com, and looked at the reviews on the American Tonneau Co. folding cover. It was only $250. The reviews were great, so I ordered it along with a set of Go Rhino 4" stainless nerf steps. The cover arrived in two days! It came already assembled, and was a piece of cake to put on. It also came with a free tailgate seal and a very nice T-shirt! It rained 3" here two days ago. After driving home 30 miles in the down pour, I pulled into the garage and opened the tailgate. Completely bone dry in the bed. This cover comes with a 10 year warranty on the fabric and lifetime on the frame. A real bargain, if you ask me.
  22. Agreed, but I think you should take that front air dam off. It does just about nothing but reduce your ground clearance. I took mine off and have seen zero change in mpg, assuming that's what it's on there for. The front looks way better with it removed, IMHO.
  23. Ok, next "newby" question. (New to GMC, that is) I see that a lot of you are leaving that front air dam in place. Just personal preference?
