  1. How many of you are running a 6" lift with 35's and have 3.08 gears? How's the power with that set up? I'm planing a 6" BDS with Fox upgrades and new leaf packs. Really want to run 35's but don't want my 5.3L/3.08 gearing to be a dog either. Wondering if I will need to stick with 33's. I also put quite a few miles on per year. About 16k due to kids playing travel sports.
  2. Sweet man!!
  3. IMO if I'm trying to hear them I'll notice them minimally. And that's with the inside cab noise dead quiet. I can notice some road noise with any tire. I even noticed minimal noise driving the wife's 2014 Grand Cherokee with stock P rated Michelins on it.
  4. Didn't know that. So then the gov't has no hand in GM whatsoever now? My bad. Apologies. Now it makes me wonder why doesn't the media pick this up and run with it??? Thanks
  5. This ^^^ is why there's little to no chance of any media outlet picking up this story and running with it. GM is basically a gov't owned entity now and IMO the gov't will ultimately control what the media reports and what they don't. Big gov won't shoot themselves in the foot on this one folks. My thoughts are we can all pretty much forget about this becoming a main stream media issue. And we are left to deal with this issue ourselves. Again this is just my opinion and we all know what opinions are like. : )
  6. Great tire! 275/70's on 18" stockers. Running 32 psi rear, 35 psi front cold. What psi do you guys like for a "happy medium" in regards to mpg and ride.
  7. I remember reading it somewhere. Anyone recall how to calculate fuel mpg with bigger tires?
  8. Nope no advice. Lol guy just said "yeah you were right it's off" he seemed lost too. My buddies High Country shifted worse than mine. Almost 2.5". He brought it to the dealer and they corrected it within ½". That's my next step.
  9. What's your wheel/tire/suspension set up?
  10. Love it! Is there a build thread for it? My 2015 blank canvass. Just getting started.
  11. Ok so I measured front center hub to rear center hub. Here's what I got. Passenger side = 143" Driver side = 144" Definitely a difference. And here's a copy of my 4 wheel alignment report. So now what? Seems off by a degree?
  12. Ok so here's before n after pics. Before: Stock height front = 36.5", Rear = 38.25" After: 2" RC level front = 38.75", 2" Ready Lift blocks rear = 40.75" & BFG AT KO2's (275/70x18). Truck now sits approx 3.5" higher. I like it. As I mentioned before, this is my winter setup. Next spring will come 5" RCX lift and new 20" wheels n tires.

  15. Haven't measured yet. I will tomorrow. Alignment report shows the thrust angle is off some. I'll post it tomorrow with some pics of new set up. Thanks guys.
  16. Thank you for the reply. We did make sure the taper angle was larger to the rear and all the pins line up. The one thing we didn't do when installing the blocks was to disconnect the lower shock bolts. Not sure if that really matters or not. But unless the actual truck bed is off square with the frame, the passenger rear tire sits more fwd than the driver rear tire almost 1.5". Thrust angle seems off a bit. Anyone know if this is corrected with 4 wheel alignments? Seems to ride very nice still. BTW new BFG's going on today! Finally!
  17. Hey guys what's the likelihood for the rear axle to shift when installing new lift blocks? And if it happens, how do I fix it? 4 wheel alignment? Unless I'm seeing things it appears my passenger rear is shifted forward about 1.5" compared to the driver side rear after I put in new 2" blocks. At least that's what the tape measure is showing me. Thanks.
  18. Finally added a 2" RC level front and 2.25" Ready Lift blocks in back yesterday. Tires and wheels are still stock 18" Z71. Gotta say it still rides same as stock before the level. New BFG KO2's are scheduled to be put on Friday. This set will be my winter swap set. In Spring I'm planning a 5" RCX lift with new 20" rims and tires for the nice weather months. Curious to see how stiff the ride is when the new tires are put on the end of the week. I'll post some pics before and after next weekend.
  19. Installed 2" RC level yesterday. My steering wheel is off center to the left about 45 degrees now when driving straight down the road. Still rides nice other than that. Scheduled for new tires and alignment this week. Will that fix the steering wheel issue? Thanks
  20. Nice. How's it ride with the front leveled now?
  21. Haven't seen it asked yet and it's entirely possible I missed it. Love this tire and am wondering will 275x70x18's fit with stock suspension and stock Z71 wheels? Bilstein 5100's are in the near future but do I need to wait to level first? These stock SR-A's are killing me. lol Thanks
  22. I have the squeak also.
  23. Great! Thanks very much.
  24. So was this single wire ultimately the 12v power source wire? Also...is all that's needed is the new wheel and the clock spring? Looking to do this swap. Thanks
  25. Any tire rubbing with the stock wheels? Wondering how wide a tire I can run on the stock 18's with a level and not have a rub.
