  1. Spoke to soon. The next day my A/C wasn't getting very cold again. I checked the system, compressor was good, both fans spinning strong. I recharged the system myself using the UV refrigerant, the next day I used a black light and the Schrader valve has failed. Seems like an easy fix, just glad it's not the compressor or the evaporator coil under the dash.
  2. I just delt with this this morning. Already replaced my condenser two years ago. I didn't have to replace my blend door actuator, I just had to do the relearn process and it worked.
  3. Check the a/c condenser.............they are notorious for cracking at the pinch weld. Look through the grill on the driverside. There's a small tack weld. If I remember right if you hold up a black light the refrigerant will glow if the weld is cracked
  4. You guys won't do anything. You will make him pay a $250 diagnostic fee and hopefully try and find the issue. This has been a known issue with these trucks. If GM says safety is a top priority then GM would make this a recall or some special coverage like the vacuum pump issue.

  6. It's the Wolfbox 900 pro rearview mirror camera. Ever since GM came out with the digital rearview I wanted one. I like this better cause you have front and rear camera. Wolfbox makes a hardwire kit so it will record if someone hits your truck with it turned off. If you like I can put up a few more pics of that?
  7. I upgraded my radio back in June. I went with the Cidava radio. It's actually been really good, and it improved the sound quality drastically. There's a really good detailed video of installation on Youtube, I installed it myself........maybe took an hour and a half. Here's a few pics. I like this over the Tesla style radio. I think it fit the dash much better.
  8. Update the cooler bypass valve. There's a few different ways to do it. You can either buy the updated part form GM, there's a kit you can buy online, or you can flip the pill in the valve. Just youtube it, there's plenty of videos out there. I bought the updated valve from GM, I have 35" tires and my transmission temps hover around 160-180.
  9. Check the ground that runs from the negative battery terminal down to the passenger side fender (usually caked with road grime) and the ground under the driver side tweeter (GM put insolation under the ground, just cut it away from the terminal). There's a lot of videos on youtube
  10. Yeah I feel like $850 is really high too. I think I will hold off and see if I can find someone else with a better price.
  11. Just got mine back on Monday too. Sounds like we went the same route, billet torque converter and shift kit with my rebuild too. My guy was telling me to have the transmission tuned. He said the way these transmissions are built locks up the torque converter in second when it should lock up in overdrive 6th gear. I'm still looking into this, the tuner he uses wanted $850 to tune the motor (AMF delete) and tune the transmission. I already had the update cooler bypass valve on the transmission before the rebuild. My temps would stay around 150-160 degrees.
  12. I'm in the same boat. Dealer quoted me $250 to diagnose it and it would take week to do. 5K-7K for new same shitty transmission and would take 3 weeks. I found a local transmission shop, they said they replace these weekly on our trucks. He quotes me 5K, that is with a billet torque converter and some other billet internals. He can get it done in 4-6 days. He has all the parts in stocks. I would love to just sell it and go with something different. I would hate to spend 5k on the trans and 6 months from now something else goes out like a lifter. Truck is paid off and i still really like my truck. I just don't want anymore issue What are your guys thoughts?   13. I know Baja designs and Diode Dynamics both make a fog light kit that plugs directly into your factory harness. I have the diode dynamics kit. I like them a lot, way more light output.
  14. Why not just use the app? I use the Mychevrolet app for my Silverado, I can remote start/stop and lock/unlock the doors with it.

I don't have a Denali but like you I went from a basic spacer level to Kings 2.5's along with Cognito upper control arms( I wouldn't go Cognito if I had to choose again) and Bilstein 5100 shocks in the rear. The ride is night and day from a spacer level compared to coilovers. If you have the money I would definitely go that route. If you're looking for a lift kit then I would go CST or BDS. They make a really nice 4" and 6" lift.

  17. There's a bunch of youtube videos covering these set ups. Check out Dirtking, 454 motorsports. 454's youtube page covers all the trucks they've done with detailed videos. As far as pictures, I would just search Silverado longtravel and there should be more than enough to check out.
  18. Yeah no worries. Most guys run 37's with these fenders on a long travel kit. I think you'd be able to fit 37's with your 4" lift.

  20. I wore out my Nitto MT's. I was deciding between the Nitto Ridge Grapplers or the Recon Grapplers. I went with the Ridge in a 35x12.5x18.
  21. I do accept the risk. I would think Law Enforcement would have bigger fish to fry than looking for vehicles with 3 amber lights in their grill with what's going on now a days. I totally respect what you do, and thank you for your service!!
  22. Had no clue that the grill lights on the Raptor was a DOT requirement. I thought they were strictly an appearance thing. Thanks for the info
  23. 16LT4- What's being wider than 80'' have to do with anything?? Yes, I know it's not a Raptor.....
  24. Added some lights, Diode Dynamics SS3 pro fogs and some grill lights. The light output on these fogs are insane.
