Where did you find the deeper caps? My google foo must not be working because I couldn't something like that. That would be a game changer.

There is some drilling involved and the rubber grommet that comes with the kit doesn't really fit because the bulbs stick thru the hole in the cap. At least it did on my 15 LTZ. I didn't realize this until after I had purchased the kit. I just recently returned mine because I'm like you didn't want stray to far from factory just yet considering I just bought the truck.

No where in that description does it mention anything about a sub and it being related to bucket seats. And nowhere else under additional options does it say anything about the sound system. Only thru photos online did I see it had bose speakers. So when I got in the truck I expected to see something like 4 door speakers, 1 center (possibly in dash) and then a sub under the back seat. But no I counted 4 in the door and 2 on the dash. This lead me to believe that a sub was not included as I have never seen a crew cab truck where the sub wasn't under the back seat but then again this is my first chevy. So after doing some research and with the HELPFULL comments that people have provided on this thread I now​ feel confident there is a "tiny" little sub under the console. ​

Oh dont worry there is a catch of course. 20% restocking fee and a 5% fee on any item that is not still in the original package. So bascially by the time i get the refund i will essentially only be getting about 1/2 of the money back. Thats why their was no kickback on the return im sure. But in the end thats better than never using it.

SInce my HIDS aren't going to work out and I'm sending them back. Has anyone tried these on the new 2015 Silverado Morimoto XB LED Headlight Bulbs. I figured if I'm returning back to the same place maybe they will exchange and refund the difference but I don't want to go back down the road of getting something that either doesn't fit or isn't trusted.

Where did you find spare covers at? I patched mine with a plastic repair kit but It looks a little rigged up. I had rather have back to normal until I figure a better option out.

Well I went on ahead with drilling out one of the covers anb you were absolutly correct. The light plug stuck trait out of the hole and you couldnt seal anything back up. I decided to drop back and punt as well. Im hopeing i can return the kit considering it was for a silverado and it doesnt fit like the instructions say. I really wanted the lights to work. I will be putting the silver stars in i guess like I probably should have anyways. Thank you for the help.

I have the projectors for the low beams which are the ones I'm currently replacing. The directions say to drill a hole in the cover for the wires to pull through. Did you have to do that or are you saying that even after drilling in the covers the bulbs still poked through?

Im in the middle of the installing the morimoto silverado spec kit on a 2015 silverado and Im towards the end of this project and am confused as ever.. Does one of the OEM plugs not get used comming from the headlights? It all seems very straight forward and then i end up with this plug at the end with no where for it to go. Any help would be much appreciated. THanks.

I actually think I felt the sub today. its closer to the front of the center console than I was expecting. I'm use to bass always being under the back seat so thought it would be directly under the arm rest part but its seems to be directly under the dash portion. At least that's what it felt like.

Ok I'm a little confused. If you have a center console and bucket seats you do or don't have the sub? I don't believe I have one because I turned the bass up and I didn't feel any type of boom boom coming from the console area. It seemed to only be in the doors.

I just purchase a 2015 Silverado crew with LTZ and the sticker says it has the 6 speaker bose premium sound system. Everything I have been reading says that any LTZ with the bose system has a subwoofer that is under the center console. Is this statement true? I'm just wondering because to me it doesn't really sound like it and plus I may not be a math whiz but I'm fairly certain the 6 speakers are accounted for. I notice in description that it says the 7th speaker comes if you order bucket seats which I though was standard on LTZ's.
