Recently upgraded to new iPhone so wanted to put a wireless charger for center console lid..so all i had to do was just “drop it” on top instead of plugging in...some feel it’ll take longer to charger but in 5 minutes driving down the road...I got 10% juice out of it to recharge phone...some videos out there took apart the wireless module but I simply kept it in tact and drilled the plastic lid portion... I did the same thing this guy did in video but drilled out plastic piece for wireless charger/wire to be more flush and kept the wireless charger in one piece..
Just had this same issue with my 2014 silverado...after paying $100 to have it coded...it was determined to be low voltage battery (7-8volts)...luckily my battery was under warranty at Autozone...swapped out and voltage back to/above normal 12 volts...and Autozone has free code cables to determine what code your truck is putting out FYI (didnt know till after I paid $100 somewhere else)....
if you go on Instagram and look up Klearz...you'll see their posts where theyll have posts of vehicles with the Klearz on there....you dont have to have an account to view the pictures...I know Ive seen newer Chevy's with them on there. Hope this helps.
2014 Silverado LED front turn signal flasher resistor issue..need to know which black wire is the actual ground wire since there is two black wires and need to know which colored wire is the “positive turn signal” wire..need to connect the resistor to stop hyperflashing.. I was only expecting three wires but there is 4 wires for one turn signal and 6 wires for the other just on ones side of truck.. I’m not the most knowledgeable when it comes to checking with a voltage meter so that’s why I’m asking for help..thanks in advance.
Which cover are you entering to win? 1500 Chevy Sil 2014..5’8 bed Tell us why the LOMAX cover is perfect for your truck? Low profile design..debating between LOMAX and Retrax at the current moment What features are most important to you when buying a tonneau cover, why? Easy to store/lock stuff in bed if need be instead of transferring back and forth to inside of cab...have a Snugtop on my 02 Chevy Sil single cab from back in day and very useful for a cover. Do you have a tonneau cover on your truck? If so, which cover is it? Why are you looking for a change? At the moment currently looking for a cover but as mentioned before I’m close to pulling the trigger on the Retrax Poly One MX..not a fan of the fold/roll up on top but only like the LOMAX due to its low profile design and flush with top...saw on YouTube how a lifted white Silverado got one donated to him because he was in the same situation as me..(wanted a sleek low profile tonneau cover)..from his video it looked very easy to install and looked like truck didn’t even have a cover... What do you use your truck for? Almost everything except towing (trailer/boat)...as mentioned before, have a Snugtop on my single cab and was very useful to me have a cover on bed to store/lock items inside.
this would be your best bet on what snowbrdd said...or try take it to get it vinyl wrapped...thats what I was going to do but just ended up paying for an OEM grille off ebay for -$75 cheaper than dealership
CAN SOMEONE POST A LEVELED PICTURE FROM THE SIDE WHERE YOU CANNOT SEE THE LED STRIP DURING THE DAY? CURIOUS TO KNOW WHERE YOU PUT IT SO YOU DONT HAVE TO FABRICATE ONE...THANKS IN ADVANCE...GONNA BE PUTTING MINE UP THIS WEEKEND SO WANTED TO GET IDEAS
Not that I was aware of..I got the basic option with straight black..no UV layer..they moved into that newer building a couple months after I got it done so maybe prices went up to pay for rent there?? Idk..
