    I like seeing the older trucks (late 60 - mid 70s) dipped in some of the newer colors. Certain body styles can handle the complexity of the color whereas others kind of drown in it. This color has such a heavy flake .......... I'm likin' that. Next week my wheels are going to be powder coated in the Iridium metallic and the now factory polished face will be high polished. I think that'll pretty much wrap it up as far as the cosmetics on my AT.

    I think I know which one you're talking about. Maybe it was just the color, but it wasn't my cup of tea either. Anyway, I really like this combination as well. I thing the dark colors are able to pull off the look. Thanks!

    Some may have read a while back that my entire truck had been keyed. About a week ago I received my truck from the body shop, polished it out and am enjoying it all over again. 87K miles and counting ........

    So far I haven't been able to find anything for the 6L80E trans.

    So I had a Tahoe and Silverado within the past couple of years both being 2WD. I had swapped the transmission servos in both to the corvette servo. The difference is very good with the trucks shifting at the exact shift points and preventing the trans to continually downshift. As a matter of fact, in each of these trucks I could mash on the pedal and they would chirp going from 1st to 2nd and sometimes from 2nd to 3rd. Question is whether or not this swap could be done with my 4WD?

    Just about to 83K and counting. A/C compressor changed @ 47K or so and emissions system just recently changed out ......... I argued with the dealership on that one as it is warrantied to 80K per GM. They paid for the $700+ repair without issue. Other than that NO issues whatsoever.

    I have a 2014 SLT ll Terrain .... 79,978 as of today. Warranty was gone in less than 10 months.

    The Carrera has upgraded turbos and is mostly driven on road course tracks ..... awesome in the slaloms. The Viper on the other hand has too much power and is more fun to take the weekend ride with my wife. My wife's 2012 V ....... best sedan we've ever owned. Wife says "hands off" so I don't get to modify it .... yet. The day she bought it. Had to visit her folks and give her 70 year old Dad a ride. LOL, that was fun! My pride & joy the day I picked her up from the dealer.
