  1. I had the exact same problem on my 2014 High Country sunroof. The bellows piece of rubber on the passenger side would constantly come loose, and fall off. A little bead of clear Gorilla Glue fixed it. With that said, you'd think that for a $50k truck, little crap like this wouldn't be an issue.

  3. Yes. The very LOUD, noticeable "metal-on-metal" sounding rear-end clunk has also been eliminated, I believe through a combination of asking the service manager to have the torque checked on my leaf spring u-bolts, in combination with a transfer case program update.

  5. Well, I'm beyond Happy to report that my drivers seat movement issue is now GONE!!! I didn't pick-up the paperwork when I got my truck, as the Service advisor was swamped and said he'd mail it to me. Once I get it, I'll post a copy of it, showing the TSB#. Rick
  6. Just got home, and didn't feel any more seat movement. With that said, I drove straight city streets and freeway the whole way home. The true test will come next time I'm heading out to the coast, on Hwy 1. I'll report back soon.......
  7. Update - Couldn't pick my truck up last week, but hopefully going to get it back today. Will report back on the seat movement "fix."
  8. Unfortunately, they're doing the shim kit repair first. If that doesn't work, I told them I'd be back for the seat bottom frame replacement. The Service Manager told me they have done this repair several times for other customers, and none have been back complaining about seat movement. Time will tell......... I pick the truck up on Wednesday and will report back. Rick
  9. Oops, my whiff - you're correct 78 ft-lbs.
  10. Update - I'm taking my truck into a different Chevy dealer service department tomorrow morning, to have the drivers seat movement issue fixed, under one of the existing TSB's out there (#13310A, PI1183A, or 15304). The service manager I talked with seems like a pretty knowledgeable guy, and ordered the parts for the movement issue beforehand, so they won't be waiting on anything when my truck arrives. I'm also going to have him check the torque on my u-bolts, to be sure they're at the correct factory tightness of 78ft.-lb. We'll see if it will help the "clunking" in the read-end when I'm coasting, and then re-apply the gas. He's also going to check that all of the factory updates for the transfer case have been applied. If nothing else, at least this will be the 2nd service visit on record for the rear-end "clunking" issue. I'll report back in, once I've picked-up my truck. Happy New Year All - Rick
  11. The two TSB's I've found relating to seat movement are: #11310A, or #PI1183A. Rick
  12. You're not alone, as you can see by reading a bit here. I took my truck into the dealer for the rear end noise, and was given a copy of TSB #01-07-30-042H, which was originally issued in 1/14. Basically just GM's way of giving the service techs a way to "explain away" the noise as normal. I'm taking my truck to a different Chevy dealer service department on Friday, to have the rear end noise checked again, as well as the issue of my drivers seat "clicking & shifting" in corners. There are two TSB's covering this issue, so I'm hoping they can resolve that one. I'll report back here on the outcome. Cheers - Rick
  13. Thanks for taking the time to report back, and for posting the copy of your invoice. Hopefully this will help me, and anyone else who comes, to get the Very Irritating seat movement issue fixed!!!! Cheers - Rick
  14. So, just having the service tech lower your seat all the way to its lowest position, and you then raising it back up to your desired position has fixed your seat movement issue??? Thanks for posting.
  15. If you wouldn't mind, could you please take a picture of the work order they issued you for this repair, and post it. I'd LOVE to take a copy of it into my Chevy Dealer's service department and have my seat fixed!!!! Thanks - Rick
  16. I took my 2014 High Country in to the dealership last Friday, for a rear end clunk noise, and a shifting driver seat. they game me a service bulletin about the rear end noise, saying that it was perfectly normal, and told me the tech could not duplicate any seat movement. Both, of course were complete BS answers. I find it absolutely amazing, that these issues are so prevelent in such a supposed "high-end" GM truck. I'm feeling like I just spent $50+k on the WRONG truck brand!
  17. This is my first post here, and what a GREAT resource to find! In the end of August 2015, I bought a 2014 Silverado High Country as a 50th Birthday present to myself. the second day I drove it, I had all the windows down, and was coasting at around 20mph, and heard a very noticable metal-on-metal clunk sound when I accelerated again. I did more testing over the next several days, and took it to one of my good friends auto shop. He drove it with me, and easily recreated the clunk sound. He told me to contact the dealer. I made an appointment, only to have them tell me it's normal and provide me with the same serivce bulletin mentioned in this thread. This is my first ever GM purchase, and because of this clunk issue, as well as a drivers seat that moves around, and a salesman that completely lied about the vehicle history, I'm VERY dissapointed with my purchase..........
