    Another +1. Got rid of mine too? Dealership for free oil change only. I look forward to going to work in the morning only because I want to drive my new smooth truck.

    Doing great too w/ my new Tundra. I love it. Took a beating on the trade in, but no regrets, just resentment with GM. Been a GM guy for over 25 years. I even supported the bail-out! I am done with them now. Tundra is every bit as stiff as the old vibrator, but no shake. Kinda like a truck should be.

    I bought a Tundra as well. Runs and drives great. I feel bad for the poor bastard who buys it. I hope they check the CarFax first. It does show all the times it has been back to dealer. Some have yet been updated on CarFax. You can find the Shakerado on the Beck and Masten (south) web page. Has about. 8,200 miles of hell on it. Review of Tundra: Pro: lots of power, a bit throaty. Ride is stiff as would be expected in a truck, but no shake at any speed. Very smooth. Get a sense of being well made. Everything is solid. Rear seats in CC are huge, and still have more than enough space in drivers seat. Seats are more comfortable than my old vibrator. Cons: poor MPG . Averaging 16 while vibrator was 21. Base sound system is weak. But, it has good reception. Wish it had the App where you can turn on remotely. All in all I love it. Looked at Ram, Ford and even Nissan. Tundra just best over all IMO.

    Good news. Shakerado is gone. I simply got to a point that I hated driving the vibrator and dealIng with GM. So, now I have a proven truck with the only issue is that it eats gas. Runs like a truck, but smooth without the shake. Sounds note is a bit more throaty and love it. Definitely worth the $ I lost on the GM. I look forward to driving my truck now!!! GM- get your act together or your sales or your sales will continue to decline I wish the best of luck to the vibrator owners on this forum.

    I washed my vibrator today. You know when you wash your car it seems to drive better? Not mine. Conclusion: riding a clean or dirty vibrator, the stink remains the same

    You are one of the lucky ones then. In my case, and many other postings on here many also concluded it was not the tires. In my case, they replaced all four tires. It still vibrated. Then they Road forced and had to replace one of the new ones they just installed. Yes, when they replaced and RFB's the tires, the vibration was better, but it time, the vibration came back. I still have a vibrator. Been a GM guy all me life, but I think I may need to bend over and get a Ford. I cringe when I say this!

    It's not the tires. this has been mentioned many times on this forum. Try another truck instead?

    I was reading an article the other day regarding GM is planning on downsizing the Silverado assembly factory in Mexico. The article said they would be moving some manufacturing back to the US. I find this interesting as you would think the cost of labor is less in Mexico? Perhaps GM is having some quality control issues with manufacturing in Mexico. Guess what? My Shakerado was assembled in Mexico. Hmmm! Oh, did you read about Silverado's sales were down and Fords were up! Perhaps GM is waking up? Seems like it, they are certainly hammering ford in their advertising of late.

    What size is the factory U-Bolt nut? I'd like to stop by on way home from work to pick up appropriate size socket.

    Because like the "Chevy Shake", GM does not consider crappy seat frame a safety issue. It's simply a $ issue.

    I know for sure I feel it in the steering wheel. But, there is also times when I hear the rear seat belt rattling, so I can only assume the vibration is being transmitted from the rear to my steering wheel? Also interesting to note. .there was no documentation on any of my service tickets regarding balancing drive shaft? Supposedly replaced all tires and RFB's. Still vibrated. Took it back and RFB'd yet again. They claim they PICO'd it and was within GM Spec. on recently paved asphalt, but said readings will be higher on concrete roads ie, 98% of the roads that have not been recently paved. GM considers the case to be closed since they got vibration is Spec. on a super smooth asphalt road. Have a nice day Mr. customer, glad we could help, now go away.GM is just trying to wash their hands of this. It's unbelievable to me to me how GM is dealing (rather not dealing) with this obvious problem.

    What do you think these marks mean? This is how I found it when it came out of shop when they told me all was okay. Well it's not, but was wondering what these marks are, and what were they trying to do>

    trying to post a Pic of my drive shaft that has some markings on it from dealer. Interested to know what they may be? How do I post this image?

    What is the factory Spec. on the U Bolts?

    Perhaps because they no longer want to deal with GM anymore with all the hoops people have to take. Just dump it, take the loss and carry on with another manufacturer. If I had the cash and was not buried in my truck, I would take this route as well. Who wants to deal with the hassle?
