  1. A few things. You'll need to inspect your door jamb connector (on the body side) and see if you have pins 9 and 11. These circuits are the running light and cargo light circuits. IF you have them, then that's good news. Next - you want to select a mirror. There aren't many mirrors out there with just the marker (running) light. Most all of them have the rearward cargo light. So cargo lights will be bonus. Once you figured those out, next will be to either - Swap the door harnesses to support the new mirrors OR modify your factory harnesses. Either option, I can build a custom set of door harnesses OR a DIY Kit for you to modify your door harnesses. As far as mirrors, there are TONS in the aftermarket space. I personally prefer GM mirrors, but if I had to choose an aftermarket set, I would get 1A Auto or AM Auto Mirrors. Hope this helps. If you need more info, please send me a PM. Thanks! I have personally done this mod for a member here. He went with GM DQS Tow Mirrors, and a set of Boost Auto Switchbacks. Turned out great! The switchbacks came with a wire harness to tap the mirror's existing running lamp circuit to bring the running light and the turn signal into the switchback assembly. See pics. @GyroThom - You have a LOT more going on here than most. I did the same as you when a first started this upgrade. You are MUCH better off modifying a set of DL8 harnesses and adding the missing circuits that modify the DL3 harness. There are a total of 11 circuits that need to come out of a DL3 harness and 10 new circuits added. It is a royal PITA to do it this way. I suggest modifying your DL8 harness and adding the missing light circuits. Hey there. I can supply you with all you need for this upgrade. I have "kits" for $750 shipped anywhere in the US. This kit includes: DL3 Mirrors, Custom DL8 - DL3 PnP Harnesses, GM Fold Switch. PM if you want to order. If you get a set of mirrors that don't support mirror memory or power fold, that is not an issue. You can use them, you'll just lose those features. If you want the lighting features to operate properly, you'll have to swap door harnesses OR modify your factory harnesses. Lastly, with 2015 trucks, you will need to explore your door jamb connector (on the cabin side) and see if you have pins 9 and 11. These are the cargo light and the running light circuits.
  2. The disable circuit runs to the IP switch. It lands onto pin 3 of the connector. That circuit is what is needed to disable the boards if you add the IP switch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. What would you say the frequency of this issue occurring? In the last 2.5 years of having this done this upgrade, mine didn’t respond 2 or 3 times. During the cold months, if there is ice build up, if resistance is felt, they may not fold/unfold. This was the time when I experienced this issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Then you’ll have to omit the running light and land the turn signal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. If this was your case, the manufacture did tie both circuits together in the mirror. Does your mirror have an indicator on the glass? If so, you’ll need to find they tied them together and separate the circuits. Once that is done, then you can land pin 13 back into the mirror connector. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The 110V outlet can be added like@BlkSS said. You’ll need the inverter and wiring. The wiring consists of about 3-4 wires that need to land in various connectors. I’ll have a kit for this soon... working on sourcing all the needs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Diodes are used to "jump" power from one circuit to another. There are several diode mods that can be done in the BCM for things like - Auto Cargo Light On with Reverse, Puddle Lamp follows Interior Dome Lamp, Fog Lights always on when headlights are one, etc. Also used to prevent back feed voltage.
  8. Yes all correct. Ground is any chassis ground. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Tow mirrors have: Turn Signals Cargo Lights (Reverse Light) Park Lamps (Running Lamp) You want to make sure you add the ground on the mirror plug. You should have the turn signal in the door jamb plug. So if you ran it in the cab, splice on the back side of the jamb connector. The cargo light and running light may not be present on your door jamb connector (it is missing on early model 2015 trucks). Good luck! In the BCM, the left/right turn signal are separate.
  10. GM used 2 different types for jump seat connectors for 2014 and some 2015 trucks. Some time, mid year 2015, GM switched to 16-pin. So the jump seat that was installed is a midyear 2015 and later while the original jump seat was from 14-early 15. You'll want to see if you can find a jump seat harness for 14-early 15 and swap it out. @cmatt
  11. You’ll want to inspect the jump seat harness connector end where it plugs under the passenger seat. If you have the 23-pin version, you’ll have to send me the harness (extracted from the jump seat) for me to build from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Nav in Motion should work just fine but you’ll need the camera harness adapter for that to work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. If you ordered the reverse camera access, you will need the adapter harness. PM to order one. I’ll need to know your truck Year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Usb cable part # 84022323 is on a National Backorder. There is no ETA in sight and for those online sites that “have it”, most likely, they won’t as they generally all order from the same GM. An alternative to this Cable and the other usb cables needed for this upgrade, is to get Generic ones from amazon. Trim the ends off until they fit. 15. The shipping address for WAMS is likely a staffed mail stop location. Like a FedEX/UPS or USPS business location where you can buy a mailbox. I have a mail stop as well for packages that I visit 3x a week for package pickup and drop off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
