  1. Well, done with GM now. Got a call from GM saying that the truck is still vibrating but within GM specs. It will truly be the last money GM ever sees from me. 11 days in the shop, and although we know there is still vibration, we that think that some amount is OK on a 50k truck. When the vibration gets worse again it will be lemon law time, as I am now at 4 visits and 11 days in the shop, in the first 20 days of ownership. GA law is 3 attempts and a final notice or 30 Calendar cumulative calendar days within the first 24 months/24k miles.. I explained to GM "customer service" that if I had to take this all the way to lemon law final notice there would be no option for a trade assist. Going all the way to arbitration and buyback now. Will also be replacing my wife's Acadia next year with an Infiniti or Lexus.
  2. Well I can tell you for me, I am now on my 4th visit for this vibration issue and I have owned this truck for 18 days. It has had the vibration since the drive home and tomorrow will be the 6th day in the shop with no definitive solution. So 1/3 of the time I have owned the truck has been in the shop. I am a fairly new convert to GM. I had a used Avalanche that I traded in for my wife's 2014 Acadia Denali. They weren't/aren't perfect, but have been great vehicles that I enjoyed. Which is why I bought this truck. It has been a miserable new vehicle experience. Next visit under this problem will be a lemon law final visit. If I get to that point, it will be the last GM product I buy. Which is too bad, as my wife really likes the Acadia and has already started talking about replacing it with the new generation, and I have been a big proponent of the new GM product lines. I just want them to take the truck back, whether through trade assist or buyback, and I don't think that is unreasonable since the first visit for vibration was at 52 miles, 14 when I drove it off the lot and 19 miles home and back to the dealer the next day.
  3. Update is that I have filed a Lemon Law complaint with BBB and got a call from GM, after initially talking to GM customer service and being told more repair attempts before anything more can be done. Since lemon law here is 3 visits for same problem with an in writing notice for a final repair and the truck was bought on a Friday and then spent Sat, Mon and Tues in the shop. I let them know that if they will offer a buy back, I would be happy to purchase another GM product. If they follow through to the lemon law route, there will be no GM product in my future and that my wife's 2014 Acadia, when the time comes will not be replaced with a GM product nor will I purchase or recommend a GM product. It is the customer service and response to the problem that came with my brand new truck that will determine if I remain a loyal GM customer, or take my business elsewhere. GM is reviewing my case this week. We will see where it goes from here.
  4. No, I literally drove off the lot to home 18 miles, and back to the dealer the next morning. The truck had 14 miles when I signed and was at 51 miles when I dropped it off to start the process.
  5. Well, redid road force, found two bad tires. Replaced tires. No change. Now service manager is opening a case with GM 4 days after I bought the truck. Hoping to talk with the manager tomorrow. Very disappointing experience, from gorgeous new truck high, to disappointment in 2 days.
  6. Going to ask about it tomorrow, but GA has no "cooling off period". Once you sign, its yours.
  7. Well add me to the list I guess. Just bought a 16 crewcab Z71 LT on Friday and had vibes on the highway on the drive home. Brought it back next day, they did RFB and tire rotation. Didn't help much. So picked it up today, after 3 hours in the shop. Was told it drives 100 times better now. I asked what the problem was, turns out that 3 of the tires were about 5 psi too high. That's actually what they told me. That the over inflation "made me feel every bump in the road" and that the Z71 package is stiffer. I guess the Z71 also has the drink mixing feature as well. At any rate I am going to get documentation of the first two visits and take the tech out for a ride tomorrow. Wish me luck.
