  1. Stocked the center console Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  2. No idea. Sounds weird. Android Auto seems to be same brightness as regular GM display Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  3. Wow, that was post #777 in the window leak thread. I'm heading to the store to buy a lotto ticket Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  4. I'll be looking for a second production year tundra in 2022 as long as the rear window doesn't leak. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  5. I'm pretty sure GM will continue to offer complimentary unlimited hack job caulk applications as long as you own the truck. Usually if there is a TSB for something they will honor it within reason well past the warranty. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  6. Hope for the best for you. Just know that the sealent worked on my 19 for about 3 months then the leak came back. So as long as you own the truck you are going to have to keep an eye on it. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  7. Mine has been at the dealer two days and they won't look at it until Monday. But that is understandable with holiday vacation and me dropping it off out of the blue. At Least it's parked inside. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  8. You need to ask the dealer service manager to put you in touch with the regional service manager. The regional service manager is the one that can submit to GM for a repurchase to get a new truck. If you go lemon law route check your state attorney general office. Our state has an expedited arbitration program. Cost $250, no lawyer needed and you get that $250 back if you win the lemon law case. The repurchase is the best bet but the process takes about two months to work through. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  9. No what I was getting at is to get the rear spoiler off, they need to pop the inside trim off and pull your headliner down to get to the bolts that hold the rear spoiler on. It's really hard for someone working in a shop to have clean hands all the time. As a result every time my headliner was pulled down there always ended up being greasy fingerprints. 10. Well better now than later. It's not your fault GM sold us a bag of lemons. You did right by them. Nobody I know or work with has dared to by a T1 Silverado after seeing what I went through. That is probably 10 k2 Silverado s in the parking lot that will all become Ford's or Toyotas. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  11. I dropped mine off tonight. They are going to remove the spoiler tomorrow and see if it is the frame that is cracked or maybe just the urethane gasket on the window wasn't installed right. The 8 speed in my 2020 lt loaner is smooth as silk. So much different than the clunky 8 speed that was in my 19 that was bought back. Guess it really is a luck of the draw with that 8 speed Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  12. Well they didn't follow the tsb as it says let it sit 24 hours before testing for anymore leaks..... Did you check you headliner, rear seats, and rear corner inside plastic trim for greasy finger prints and scratches? Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  13. That's funny. The Chevy dealer up here advertises they are the largest volume dealer in the nation. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  14. Please tell me you didn't take it to Bob Johnson Chevy in Rochester. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  15. Well on my new 2020 trail boss after 2,000 miles I am at 98% front 99% rear. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  16. That makes me think pulling in and out of my steep driveway every day which causes quite a bit of flex in the truck might be what broke the seal or plastic frame on my back window. Just the morning fog/dew on the truck today was enough to make it start dripping in so must be a big opening. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  17. Or the plastic frame of the rear slider cracked from hitting a pot hole or the truck flexing pulling in or out of my steep driveway Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  18. Both of my trucks were 1Vin ft Wayne Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  19. For me it was once I passed 30 days out of service and qualified for lemon law in my state. Before that happens don't bother wasting your time. Also it has to be the regional service advisor that has to submit to GM for the buyback. Dealer service manager and 1800 GM customer service number can't do anything. 20. I thinking this has to be a freeze thaw issue. I mean I soaked this new 2020 six ways from Sunday when I first got it. No leaks and no evidence of previous drips. With this being a black truck, Everytime it's snowed the last few weeks the sun hits the black truck and melts the snow which runs off the roof into the rear window channel then refreezes and expands. I just washed my truck Monday night with a pressure washer and no leaks, I checked. Two days later now it's leaking. I just let it sit for an hour then went back out with hose and lightly misted water directly into the top of the rear window for maybe 5 seconds. Couple ounces water max. By the time I got out of truck bed and checked inside it was already dripping in. This tells me it's not the rear spoiler holes in the roof for one. But how the heck in two days I went from dry with a pressure washing to leaking like crazy with a light mist is beyond me. Must be the frame cracked or the window seal let go. Having gone through the entire process on my last truck. Think I will see if they can apply a very small amount of sealant as a temp fix while a new window is ordered. The Safelite glass company butchered my new window install on my 2019 including putting my seats back in without the seatbelts. So I'm not feeling good about any of my options. 21. Well this one is on me. GM have me the option of a buy back or replacement brand new 2020. I went with the 2020 knowing full well it could leak too. I made my bed now I have to sleep in it. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  22. Well. Other than this I love the truck. As they say, it's much easier to get married than divorced. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  23. Merry Christmas Everyone. My present this year was membership in the leaker club not once but TWICE! After GM bought back my 19 for the leak documented here many times in this post, my brand new 2020 Trail boss August 2019 pre strike build with 2,000 miles decided to start leaking after taking it through the car wash tonight. I've washed it several times already and no leaks up to this point. Got home and just soaked the the top down for 10 seconds with the garden hose and it's still dripping. What did I do to deserve to get this twice? I mean really wtf. Anyway it's leaking in the middle this time not on the ends like before. It has been below freezing and above freezing several times the past few weeks with snow, so perhaps the water froze and expanded opening up the leak. I also noticed on the driver side the rear window gasket is all smushed up on one side, so maybe the window didn't get installed properly from the factory. I should have bought a Ford is all I can say right now. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  24. I am not sure which is worse the leaking Silverados or the freezing door locks on all the F150s. At least we can get in our leaky trucks, so there is that.. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  25. Well so far my 2020 has been dry for 2 months. I feel all the new members pain. It really sucks and there is nothing they can do that will ever make it right other than a buyback. My 19 was in the shop so many days waiting for headliner and window that I could never get the smell of the shop out of my truck. I get in my 2020 and it smells fresh and new. The 10 speed is awesome too. I hope you all have luck like I did and manage to get gm to agree to a buy back. I still check my window on the 2020 Everytime it rains waiting for that first drop. Although it's 12 degrees out so not much rain lately. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
