  1. I'm using the Tapatalk app to view this forum and there is no poll showing. Is this something you have to go to the website for or am I missing something? Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah I just tried mine on tonight they look identical to yours. Sorry bud looks like you paid the early adopter price. They are high quality though. I would have paid $200 last summer when I was fighting with generic camping world mirrors. I just looked at etrailer and they are charging $200 for the same model number mirrors summit racing has for $53 plus shipping. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  3. They need to stop this put stuff you use and shouldn't have to look for on buttons trend. The 4wd is now tiny buttons I can't activate without taking my glove off and looking for a tiny button. Same with the fog lights used to be an easy to find in the middle of the light knob. Now it's buried in a row of buttons I have to look for in the dark and take my gloves off. If they use that stupid stacked button gear selector on the Tahoe there is no way I would buy a 2022. At least the Ram gear selector is a knob you can turn without looking at, its actually not bad I had one for a rental. That button stack gear selector for anyone in the snow belt is a deal braker. Fix these few issues and bring back adjustable brake pedals and call it a day. The Chevy Blazer I drove had the iPad glued to the dash design. It's different and ugly. And fix the damn leaking rear window design flaw![emoji3577] Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  4. I just got ksource snap and zap shipped for $69 on summit racing. Why were yours so much more expensive? Are there two kinds? Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  5. I also said I was going to check out of this thread a while back but it's like a train wreck happening infront of you, you know you should look away but you just can't help but watch.... Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  6. Costco gives you a free case of flex seal if you buy a Silverado with their autobuy program. Just a heads up. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  7. No. That would be dumb. Just buy a can of as seen on TV flex seal and sleep like a baby. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  8. I am trading in my travel trailer for a new bigger one in two weeks. So I will be hooking up a 5,000 lb trailer and jackknifing it up my steep driveway in reverse probably multiple times to get the right angle. This should put an incredible amount of flex and twist in the frame and cab of my truck. I will then head straight to the carwash to see if my brand new window suddenly starts leaking Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  9. Kitty runs a good operation. My wife brings here Subaru there and the guy that works next to me whose window hasn't leaked yet got his truck at Van Bortel in Macedon. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  10. Interested. Have the same truck. Where did you get them? Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  11. There is no "correct" caulk job that will fix this problem. Anyone that says so is lying to you. They caulked my 19 three times and the leak always came back. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  12. I use a large push broom. Problem with texture on the cover gives the ice something to stick to. So it's not easy to break the ice up and slide it off. I have a moving blanket from harbor freight that is about the same size as my bed. Next ice storm we get gonna throw that over the tonneau and pull it off the next morning. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  13. Spent an hour with buckets of hot water remembering why I have had a truck cap for 15 years instead of a tonneau cover Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  14. Well another couple weeks with the replacement window and still no leaks. As long as the leak doesn't come back it is easy to forget all this and enjoy your new truck. Just accept the fact that you will always need a flashlight and two towels in your truck for as long as you own it. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  15. Good will dept gave me an extended warranty on my truck. Usually you have an option of accessories credits, oil changes, or a warranty. They can also pay your truck payment if it's over 22 or so days but that might also be only if your truck is through gm financial. Not sure on the last one. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  16. Well if it has the leak walk away. Do the inspection before you sign the papers Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  17. If your front windshield needs replacing that is the perfect time to replace the headliner with the window out. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  18. My GM REV tonneau cover is a different story. Had a gallon of water in the back of my bed. What a piece of junk. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  19. Well. Couple weeks on my new window. Rained all night and all day. So far no leaks. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  20. Was there any damage to the outside of the truck? Are you going report to NHTSA? Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  21. The new iPhones use .heic format instead of jpeg for photos now. Apparently the rest of the world has not caught up yet to the special Apple people. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  22. Read the rear window leak thread before you buy a new Silverado. Can't say we didn't warn you. I have driven probably 9 different loaner trucks with the 8 speed. Some were good some were not. The 5.3 10 speed in my 2020 is a marked improvement over the 8 speed. 2400 miles on mine. As the other user mentioned I have the tiniest 1 to 2 hesitation shift if I am really light on the throttle going up hill. Other than that it has been quite remarkable so far. Considering how bad my 19 8 speed was I can't believe the 10 speed isn't in every truck Chevy sells. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks. Don't worry I'll be back. I took April 1st 2020 in the office bet for my next leak as that is the 1 year anniversary of my first leak..... Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  24. Well folks. Think I need to graduate from the rear window leak club. Between my 19 leaker and 20 leaker I am at roughly 15 trips to the dealer, easily 200 phone calls and 64 days out of service in the last 7 months. Add this to my 16 Silverado that was out of service 62 days with no air conditioning and the brake vaccum pump failure. And finally the countless harassment and ribbing by my f150 neighbors, coworkers and family for the 9 different loaner trucks parked in my driveway in last 7 months. Why I still own a GM is beyond me. I fully expect the leak on my 20 to come back and my regional rep knows that if it happens again they will be buying my truck back no questions asked. Other than the leak my 20 feels like a solid truck so I am willing to give it a chance to see if third time is a charm. This fight has fully consumed so many hours of my life that I won't ever get back. I have a wife dealing with cancer and kids in travel sports. I just don't have time for a stupid thing like a pick up truck leak to consume my time. I think I am going to start leasing trucks in the future so I really won't give a crap if it leaks or clunks or if they want to smear caulk all over it. Thanks for all the help on this forum. Some great people on here for sure. I won't say goodbye but maybe ....til next time. P.S. the guys at work actually have a lunch bet on how long my truck will last before it starts leaking again....lol. Good luck to everyone. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  25. Man that really sucks. Glad nobody got hurt. You REALLY need to go to the NHTSA website and report this. That is the most effective way to get GM to investigate things if it starts happening to multiple people. On the comical side maybe this is why GM engineered the leaking rear windows in these trucks to out out the electrical fires..... Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
