  1. Hello My 2016 silverado came with manual camper style manual fold mirrors. I replaced them with power fold mirrors and replaced the original switch to the switch that has power fold as well. Everything works as the original only now I have power fold. I can't fold them with key fob as the mirror options ( power fold / reverse tilt ) aren't in my infotainment system. In other words there is no setting under comfort and convenience nor anywhere else in the settings menu to do so. Nor did my truck come with the power fold mirrors My question is can the bcm be programmed to add the power folding mirrors options to it? Dealerships I talk to say they can't - is there anyone that can? Again - I'm very clear that my vin number doesn't show the power folding mirrors being originally equipped Thanks and would appreciate sound information
  2. Thank you Cameron for your response. I'm curious to what you said about the jba not really being an upgrade from stock -- what it sounds like is I wasted money lol - do they not help?
  3. Thank you for your reply Nick. Eventually I will get a full tune from black bear - my concern was if I would need it right off or if I could give it some time as I'll have to same up some more $ lol - I would really like to open up the trucks potential without major engine mods - don't need to be changing cam or making it a race truck - I figured the exhaust @ a minimum would help some
  4. Hi guys Need some advice - Just ordered jba shorties with arp header bolts and oem exhaust gaskets along with a magnaflow cat back exhaust dual exit and have an afe cold air intake installed. My question is will I need a tune after doing the exhaust installs? Truck is a daily driver -10 to 15 miles back and forth to work ( not even 30,000 on truck ) little to no towing involved . Bought it to plow with ( boss 8'2 as v-plow )
  5. Thank you for the reply. I wasn't sure If would need a tune . I was definitely going to go with black bear if needed after reading all the positive reviews about them
  6. Hi guys Need some advice on should I or shouldn't I tune. Just ordered jba shorties along with a magnaflow cat back exhaust dual exit and have an afe cold air intake installed. My question is will I need a tune after doing the exhaust installs? I am ordering the are bolts for the headers as well as oem gaskets so I won't have a problem there. I don't do any towing to speak of - the reason I have the 2500 is mainly for plowing here in the northeast. It's a daily driver ( I don't even have 30 k on it as I only drive a total of 15 miles back and forth to work if that ) Mods are: Cognito ultimate leveling kit with front diff spacers. 285's on 18" wheels. Afe cold air intake About to put jba shorties and magnaflow cat back exhaust on. If needed ( depending on overall response ) will go with a black bear tune. Thanks in advance to all who respond with the help. Lil johnnie
  7. Regular maintenance - oil changes and properly greased front end - no complaints on my part
  8. I've owned two 2500's with the 6.0 starting back in 06 - ran my first one for 10 years before rusting to the point of trading in for a 16 - never had any issues other than normal wear items ( ball joints ) and I think that's only because I have had plows on both trucks
