My clunking and creaking drivers seat is fixed!!!!!! Per one of the previous posts, I ordered GM 13405675 RETAINER-F/SEAT CUSH LATL ADJR off Amazon for $6.13. There was already a clip under the seat on the bar on the door side of the under-seat but none on the section of the bar closest to the interior part of the car. While I did not have to alter the new clip, it was a bit tricky getting it on the bar because of some metal tubing near the bar. But I eventually clipped it on, zip tied it and prayed! It totally worked. Pretty sad that I fixed it myself for $6 and the dealership couldn't fix it the 4 times I had my 2016 Yukon in the shop!!!!

Same issue with my 2016 Yukon. Seat creaks when going around corners. So annoying. Already did the one service bulletin replacing clips and such and lubing. Noise came back after a few months. Took it back, re-lubed...noise is slowly returning. . took it back for the 3rd time, replacing seat cover and mount...we shall see if it works. Warranty up in 200 miles They said they will not continue to fix under warranty (even if the problem continues) because the seat is considered "trim" and that is not covered out of warranty even if the issue existed prior to warranty running out

Took my Yukon in for a rattle in the back window and drove a 2017 Denali. It 100% had the booming/buffeting sound while in V4. I still have a love hate relationship with my Yukon. Love it for its looks and capacity but HATE the build of the truck.... My issues still are present with no available fixes in sight..... 1) Booming and Buffeting still occurring after all the "fixes". 2) Rough idle 3) VERY Rough acceleration ( the dealership told me to use premium top tier fuel...uggggg) 4) Slight shaking at speeds above 70 Thanks all I can think of right now. Lesson learned, I will NEVER buy another vehicle without doing my research. (This is my 4th Yukon and never thought I would have this many issues that "can't be fixed"

Basically the same as yours. Buffeting from 25-55 while the Yukon maintains it's current speed while in v4 mode. The second it goes to V8 the awful buffeting/pressure goes away for the most part

I had my exhaust replaced 2 x's. Engine mounts replaced. Roof checked. Nothing solved my buffeting issue. They offered to make a car payment for me and told me there was nothing else that they could do for me. I don't not have the time to do all the leg work for a lemon law. I have to drive with my Yukon in manual to prevent myself from feeling sick from the buffeting. $65k for a truck that I can not drive they way it was meant to be driven. So basically GM beat me down and won.

My Yukon has never had a physical vibration issue. It has the severe buffeting, ear pressure issue when in v4 mode. I just always drive in M now. Annoying and lessons my MPG, but it somewhat makes the sensation tolerable.

Do you by any chance have the part # or service bulletin for the exhaust they put on your yukon? They did this "modified exhaust(23385911) and new muffler(03701-ct) per new bulletin PIT 5404B" to mine. Fixed it for several weeks but buffeting came back Wondering if there is a 3rd exhaust now?

Such a hard decision. I didn't even look at any other vehicles prior to buying my Yukon. I just knew I wanted back in a Yukon and didn't do any research since I didn't have any issues with my other 3. If I had to do it all over again, I would look into the Infinity QX80 or Lincoln. I've had a Ford Flex in the past, while the interior room was great, the fit and finish was lacking. I'm the cool Mom that carts around my kids and all their friends, so I need a 6 or 7 passenger vehicle. Not many options out there without feeling like sardines.

Gents? Don't forget about us ladies on here I may be the only one though. I too have been loyal to GM, this being my 4th Yukon. Sadly, it may be my last. Wish I would have researched issues with this Yukon prior to purchasing. If I would have found this thread before delivery, you bet I would have NEVER purchased this vehicle.

Yep... I got confirmation from my service manager that the couple 2017's he has driven still have the buffeting issue. I guess GM didn't get the memo that these vehicles are AWFUL!

I don't have a physical vibration when my Yukon goes into V4. I have the intense pressure/buffeting when it goes into v4 and stays there. I also have the booming at slower speeds when on slightly uneven pavement.

This was me. I have had 2 separate exhaust systems place on my truck. The last one fixed the buffeting issue for ohhh about 2 weeks, then the noise slowly came back.

I'd gladly save $200 by taking the 10th of a second that it takes to put it in manual.

Would you kindly explain why the range technology works better than just manually putting it in manual? I'd rather not spend $200 on putting an after market part on.
