What would be the correct part number for the 5100 front/back for a 2017 sierra 1500 crew cab base 5.3l 4w? I want to do the 1.85" level in the front Looked up the part number #BIL33-238319 and BIL24-238304 on 4wheelparts and it says they do not fit my truck. Thank you
Thank you for the reply. The Methods i see only come with a -12, 0 or +18 offset. I do not want it sticking out to much. So it would be ok with just a 0 offset, i do not want to trim or zip tie anything. In the future i might get a 2" level.
Going to purchase new Method wheels tomorrow. Plan on getting Method MR309 18x9 with Toyo Open Country C/T 275/65/18. Will a offset 0 fit on a stock truck that currently runs 255/70/17? Or should i go with the 18 offset? Thank you
There are no lemon laws in Canada, only option would be to take them to court. Cheapest option would be to set up shop in front of their dealership with a big sign shaming them. I hope it will be fixed if not ill ask GM to take it to a different dealership, or send someone that actually knows what to look for without a computer telling them what to do. The engine light is on solid right now so hopefully he will "see". I also complained about the grease/oil that was all over the floor mat and on the drivers door panel, they said "sorry".
They just emailed me the report Inspect and report for intermit Check engine light on. Customer was driving and the light came on. Over the phone they told me that a spark plug was installed wrong and that a cylinder was lose. Did they just leave the truck over night and then said hey its good to go. I will see what they say tomorrow as by the time the tow guy took it back to the dealership their service was closed.
Well on my way to work this morning the truck started to act up again this time i could not drive it anymore, was stuck in the middle of nowhere for 2 hours till they came and towed it back to the dealership. They gave me a rental, and they will keep it to see what's wrong with it. Same problem shaking and a bad gas smell which i believe is a missfire. It's a great truck and had no problems until 3 months ago when the shake started, at the time they said they cannot do anything if no engine light on. Will wait and see. Now that i am home i checked my emails and got this from the GM App "An Issue with the emission system on your 2017 GMC Sierra has been detected. Please service your viehicle within 7 days".
So they towed the truck yesterday morning at 8am, picked it up today at 6pm They said that one of the cylinders was lose and a spark plug was installed wrong (how do you install a spark plug wrong i don't know) . On the paperwork however they said nothing wrong with the truck :), they did fix it. The girl at the front desk had no clue, will call the service guy tomorrow as the service center was closed when i got there.
I asked if it would be ok to drive there or towe it. As i don't know if more damage would be done to it. And here you come telling me to stop complaining and deal with my problem. If you don't have anything positive to add keep your shit to yourself and ignore the post its simple. Easier said than done for a troll. As for love go get some from your mom.
Chill the f out. And keep your shit to yourself, i asked a question so go f yourself if you have nothing constructive to say. I never owned a truck before not everyone is a homemade mechanic.
So yesterday my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 that i bought in march brand new and now has 19580km started to shake like crazy as soon as i go over 10km/h and the engine light blinks, it seems it doesn't have any power. Called the dealership and they said to take it in.Should i towe it there as they are 30km away? Very disappointed in this, as i have been telling them about it shaking and a verry rough issue, and they always brushed my concerns off saying that if the engine light is not on they cant diagnose anything. These people depend to much on technology to tell them if something's wrong with something.
