  1. I’d just do it in one fowl swoop. Lift, wheels/tires, and spacers in the rear. Like I said, I’m just anal about how the truck looks and making sure that my wheels/tires are evenly spaced.
  2. So bracket lifts don’t last as long? And I’d need a new driveshaft with a bracket lift, right?
  3. That I agree with. I'm not planning on beating the ever-loving piss out of mine. However, I don't want a crap lift. That said, I haven't seen anyone that has RCX complain about it, and they also have a lifetime warranty. I have it narrowed to BDS/Zone or RCX. Now I just need to decide if I want to go with a bracket lift or a knuckle lift. I just started doing my research on the bracket and have read both good and bad things about them. I've also read good and bad things about knuckle lifts, as well.
  4. Thanks, brother. I appreciate the help. I'll have to unclip it and go at it tomorrow or Thursday, then.
  5. The whole “lifetime warranty” on BDS and Zone is kinda nice..... lol edit: Aaaaaaand rough country has that too! High five!
  6. So no matter what I'll be getting spacers if I want it even?
  7. After doing some research I noticed that Zone lifts push the front wheels out a bit, regardless of offset/backspacing. Anyone have input on whether or not BDS does the same? I am really anal about stuff like that and don't want to have to add spacers to my rear wheels to make them even. Any help would be awesome!
  8. ^ that’s pretty damn cool. Havent done anything today. This week I’m going to do the Bambi Mod (fogs on at all times) and buy a 64” 8x10 and make a bed divider.
  9. Solid. I did a lot of research on both companies when I had my F150. I’m almost positive I’ll be going with either one. I know BDS has a better warranty than Zone, but it’s similar. That powertrain warranty will be huge though. I’ll have to research that and see how much it runs.
  10. Does Zone come with that powertrain too? I see you’ve got the 4.5” kit.
  11. Thanks, brother. Plus BDS has that 60,000 mile powerfrain warranty.
  12. That’s a good point. I’ve got my buddy looking into it for me. Suspension components shouldn’t be an issue since they’re being replaced with the lift anyway. Nahmsayin? Lol
  13. Hmmmm...... I’ll have to look into it further. I was thinking that everything would eventually be void because of you lift you’re putting on bigger tires, which could effect drivetrain as well.
  14. Really? I had a guy tell me that because it changes the stock geometry that it will void it. I also come from the land of Ford (been waiting to buy a Chevy or GMC all of my life and finally picked up a ‘15 Sierra), so I don’t know how much cutting needs to be done with these lifts. F150s had to have the crossmembers cut and new ones welded on and stuff. So I’m new to lifting a GM truck. I may call/text my buddy atthe dealership and find out. If I can lift this beast and still keep my warranty I’m going to be jacked.
  15. No don’t do it? Or no it won’t void the warranty? Lol
  16. Alright, guys... here’s my question. I’ve read through quite a few pages and talked with multiple people. I’ve gotten mixed reviews. If I lift my truck, 4-6” not sure what yet, will it completely void the warranty?
  17. Yeah. I’ll have to do that. I thought I had the diode in. I’m trying to get my fogs on at all times. I just need to double check which slots I’m putting it into...................... on the plug.
  18. Show off... ??? I’ll be trying it again this week.
  19. A big fat zero. I thought I was getting multiple from Amazon but they sent one. Heading to the hardware store tomorrow to see if they have one.
  20. Yeah, man. I’ve heard nothing but good things. So you should enjoy them!
  21. Amp is big among off-road enthusiasts. They started getting used for more daily drivers recently.
  22. What’s up, guys? Starting to do some slight mods to my 2015 SLE. Added a Lab/Pheasant sticker to the rear window today, and I attempted the Bambi Mod (fog lights on at all times) but I sucked at it and bent the hell out of the diode. Might be a project for Sunday. I’m trying to get the fogs to come on automatically and stay on with my brights. Read up on it but don’t quite understand where to get the diode. Lol
  23. Apparently I suck at this. Fog lights didn't come on unless switched on and turned off with brights. I also need a new diode. I bent the hell out of mine pushing it in.
  24. Got my diode in yesterday. I’ll be doing the mod tomorrow. Then I’ll be doing my LEDs in the headlights and fogs. Just need to figure out which bulbs to go with. Haha
