  1. Correct except they started with the stamped steel in some cases early 2015 causing issues almost immediately once you level. I’ve got the 18, leveled with a 2.25” up front and added a 1” onto the rear, had to buy new wheels in order to run larger tires. In a few days it’s all coming out, going with CST 4.5” lift, absolutely amazing quality lift that doesn’t widen your track once lifted. Check them out https://cstsuspension.com/content/10-media-articles Sent from above
  2. If anyone is interested in quite possibly the best lift available that doesn’t widen your track width and is not only a superior quality lift it’s also 100% American made. https://cstsuspension.com/content/10-media-articles Sent from above
  3. My personal experience on ride quality, bought my new 18 6.2,CC, Standard bed, was shocked at how smooth it drove, being a z71, 4x4 it really drove very much like a Cadillac, drove over bumps like I was riding on air suspension. Leveled with a 2.25” up front and added 1” on the rear and that’s when I immediately noticed a rougher ride, only adding to the rougher ride I added the E KO2’s and that was it, rode very much like something just wasn’t right, you felt every crack and crevice almost like my 16 DMax did. Btw, I’ve got Bilstein 5100’s all the way around too A buddy of mine has a lifted truck and actually rode more on the plush side. Apparently, the more you spend (get what you pay for) the better the ride quality. He’s running custom tuned Fox shocks with adjustable resi’s with custom coils as well as the rear but most of all he’s saying your track width has a lot to do with it too. I know for sure my level is messing with down front travel etc and After being introduced to the CST lift kit from a few guys on the forum, I’m proud to say I’m having the 4.5” CST installed within the next few days, so close to getting the 6” but then no way to get it into my garage as well as parking garages which I often visit. All in all Pronstar is one of the many that are correct in this forum, achieving a much “smoother” ride is work in progress but doable Sent from above
  4. You’re not running stock wheels you’re running a -12 wheel and barely rubs, meaning it’s rubbing nonetheless. I think most rubbing is on 20”. My rubbing happened while locking on a full turn or while backing up. Sent from above
  5. Very [emoji106][emoji2532] Sent from above
  6. My 275/60/20’s on stock 20’s rubbed bad and embarrassing especially in grocery store parking lots. Leveling over 2.25” is a money pit. Sent from above
  7. Absolutely correct, the UCA’s play a big role in it. Sent from above
  8. Right after I did my level I installed 275/60/20 KO2’s and they rubbed bad! Went to a Fuel+18 and still rubbed but not as bad, Only thing that worked is current setup +1 offset 20X9’s with Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/60/20’s Sent from above
  9. Speaking of my experience, after my 2.25” level was installed, the installer showed me that my UCA’s were not flat anymore, arched. Levels kill UCA’s! Sent from above
  10. Not worth the headaches, believe me. So much BS going on these forums with lies how some aren’t getting any rubbing with exact setup only to admit it soon after as “its not bad” lmao! Just spoke with the shop, haven’t received it yet from CST. I’m looking at first part of next week for install, arg! Sent from above
  11. The interesting thing about people raving about leveling is they forget to mention from mid 2015 GM started using stamped steel UCA’s, causing your tires to rub onto your trucks frame and or UCA’s. Not trying to be negative about leveling but Doing a level, it caused me to spend thousands of dollars replacing stock wheels with new +1 offset and finally larger tires (no rubbing) at a cost of approximately $3K later. At least I’m half way done on what it costs to lift a truck lol! This is only experienced with my 20” wheels and tires. Also forgot to mention you’ll need new shocks too for the raised height preferably Bilstein 5100’s Sent from above
  12. I’ve got about 6k on my level, ordered Fox coilovers with resi’s, new Fabtech UCA’s and after lots of research, I cancelled my order and went with the 4.5” lift through CST Suspension. There are a few guys on the forum that got me turned on by it due to zero widening of the front wheel track unlike all the other brands and after many thousands of miles not one complaint. Leveling is fine for a clearing a bit larger tires but I noticed immediately after leveling with no larger tires that my truck rode rougher. This lift will put everything back but lift through spindles. Sent from above

  15. Running a procomp lift will included diff drop which doesn’t need new UCA’s cause with a diff drop your UCA’s will be fine for a while. You should look at CST suspension, much better quality and doesn’t make your track widen up front like it does with all those knuckle replacement kits such as BDS, ProComp. A couple guy on this forum brought it up and I jumped on it. Sent from above
  16. This is what my truck should look like minus a couple inches height wise and NO Fender Flares! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. My current 2018, SLT, CC, 6.2 Standard Bed. Leveled at 2.25” front 1” added to the rear. Fuel +1 offset, 285/60/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Bilstein 5100’s, SuperChip tuned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Mine is being installed next week, going with the 4.5” as well. Pics? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Critics will always have something to say, mostly negative unless you follow their advice and most of the time they have absolutely no experience other than he said she said. Go with what you know. Hopefully, you know that going higher than 2” “always” affects the geometry of your suspension in a negative way, diff drops are cheap to do and help tremendously. New Knuckles will widen your track. I highly recommend CST Suspension systems. Little by little you’ll figure out what’s best for your own vehicle. Good Luck! 25. 4wheelparts has awesome deals on 5100’s. Be careful though, going into 10 wide very much limits fitment due to the wider tire and has caused lots of headaches with rubbing issues and that’s why I went with 9 wide, zero issues. My CST lift is scheduled 9 days from now and interesting how much requirements there are prior to suspension modifications. I never thought I’d ever do a lift until the positives outweighed the very little negative and BOOM [emoji95], here I am. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
