I’ve got the same 2.25” level, running Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/60/20’s =34”. Barely rubs on the felt liner when backing up on incline. Anything taller will definitely rub fender edge requiring at least a lift. Sent from above

You’re correct, it’s more than just a kit. I’ve heard of linings within the fuel system in addition to other flex fuel compatibility issues with non flex vehicles. But, you’ll have those that swear by it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No worries, never do both, it’s one or the other and you should not go past 2.5” height, if you do you’ll put an enormous amount of stress on your UCA’s do to the angle and destroy your front suspension. Call the experts at 4wheelparts and ask them for a professional answer, if you want to get higher do a lift kit which is designed to lift without creating chaos on your suspension and comes with a differential drop kit too. It’s one or the other, never both. Max setting I believe is 2” - 2.25”. Just remember that mid 2015-2018 GM switched to stamp steel UCA’s which will definitely cause tire rubbing if you go to 33” tires. Leveling these year trucks with bigger tires requires new offset wheels too. Bora makes the best spacers but being your truck is new your warranty will be affected by spacers as soon as the dealer spots them. Funny thing is I heard you can go 33” without level and not rub. I’d recommend leaving it alone with just level and go from there, save up and get some nice +1 or 0 offset wheel and tire package. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Call 4wheelparts and ask them or go on Bilstein website. If you’re not lifted use 4600’s, I had 5100’s (same shocks just 5100’s are for leveled) on my 16 DMax too, great shocks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cheapest way would be with the Bilstein leveling 5100 shocks and then an alignment. I prefer using pro comp front 2.25” billet aluminum spacers and 1” in rear reason being you’re screwed if one of your leveling shocks goes out on you with larger tires, it has happened. My 14 5.3 with the 3:42 got tops 20mpg highway which was standard and was horrible while towing a 7K# trailer got me at best 5mpgs and absolutely sucked on fuel mpg’s too and it too had same as yours but you know I’ve seen lots of people rave about their 5.3’s with the 3:42 rear end getting mid 20’s on mpg. I didn’t think about it when I ordered my 18 6.2, but I still think it’s the engine. Less push to go, lots more power and torque just holds much better Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
