Thank you, it definitely puts a lot of smiles for the miles on my face. I’ve got the 5.3 in my wife’s 16 Yukon Xl and with it’s 36 gallon fuel tank, it’s our road trip vehicle which gets us depending on head wind, 23-25 on the highway. I almost bought the Denali but a neighbor of mine complained on the mpg’s he was getting on his road trips. In addition, our 6.2’s require super which gets really high out of Texas as well as loss of octane in higher elevations so I’m glad I got the 5.3, wife LOVES it. On both vehicles the key to reliability and optimum performance is maintenance. I switch out the rear fluids and engine air filter every 10K with Amsoil on my wife’s as well as every 4K with Mobile 1 and Mobile 1 oil filter as well as Lucas fuel additive every other fuel tank just to keep things clean.
