  1. Yeah, I have read that these motors are fine supercharged for awhile. I know the piston and rings were not meant for the boost. I have the AFM Disabled. The truck put down 500 hp to the wheels. I am going to run 5W-30 and no more 0w-20, too thin!
  2. yeah I found a guy on youtube that had did a k&N filter for the oil fill cap and as well as for the other valve cover. I am going to install those. But I am still not sure why the catch can has so much oil in it.
  3. Yes, I installed it. I'm almost 100 percent positive to hooked all the PCV lines up properly, I checked and checked many of times. I guess what I can do Is take it to a local shop that installs these kits and have them look over the PCV system to make sure it was all done correctly. I did a Compression check and all cylinders were 190-200. So It is definetly not low on compression.
  4. The passenger valve cover breather tube is routed into the intake tube, Then the driver side tube off of the valve cover is routed into the catch can, and then the other hose from the catch can goes into the side of the charger. I will get pictures. I am running 0-20, I want to run 5W-30.
  5. It blew the rear main seal before the catch can as well.
  6. My rear main seal keeps blowing out on my 2017 GMC 6.2. The truck has a 56,000 miles on it. The charger has been on it for 4,000 miles. Why does it keep blowing the rear main seal? I put a catch can on it and it still blew the seal. The catch can grabs about 5 ounces of oil for about 100 miles. That seems like alot. I have to constantly keep an eye on the motor oil. I am going to do a compression check on the motor to make sure the rings are not shot. Could it be a problem with the PCV system? PCV Valve not opening? Any input helps a bunch. Thanks.
  7. Yeah i am going to try a 5W-30 soon and see if that helps.
  8. I have not talked with them about it. I will give them a call and see what they say.
  9. I have a 2017 GMC Sierra 6.2 with a whipple charger and a mighty mouse catch can. I noticed that within 100 miles i had about 3 ounces of oil already. Is that a lot of oil or is that normal? That seemed like a lot to me. Truck has 55k on it and the charger has only been on a few thousand miles. Could the piston rings already be shot and oil is escaping past the rings? Thanks
  10. I have a mighty mouse catch can. I haven’t installed it yet though.
  11. Yeah i have all the PCV hoses routing corectly.
  12. How do I know whats going on with the PCV system? Or what causes the PCV System to not work properly?
  13. Hey guys I have a 2017 GMC Sierra 6.2. I have a whipple with long tubes and a dyno tune. I have been having a problem with the crank case seal. It started to leak a month ago. Im guessing from boost in the crank case? The truck has 55,000 miles. The charger has only been on 5,000 miles. I got the seal fixed today, and it started dumping oil again from the same area. Is there anything that I can do to prevent the seal to leak? Or is that how it is since it is boosted? I wouldn't think I would be having oil leak problems so soon even with it supercharged. Any input helps. Thanks
  14. I bought a Wild Mighty Mouse Catch Can for my 2017 GMC Sierra 6.2, I am not sure if I need to cap off any of the hoses on the supercharger? I know one hose goes to the valley port. and the other hose goes to the valve cover. But I have seen in pictures that one of the hoses is removed and a plug is installed on the charger. Thanks
  15. Yeah its a Gen 4 whipple 2.9 water to air intercooler. And I figured it would be more useful with a higher boost application. Thanks
  16. No block has been untouched. I am probably pushing it with where I am at now. Good to know. Ill check them out for future when things break haha. I do need to get Transmission tuning on it. Also trying to figure out of I need the mighty mouse mild or wild catch can.
  17. Yeah i have a snows performance meth kit on it. But on the dyno my fuel pressure would drop off at the higher rpms. It helped alot with the AFRs though. They were high like 14 and the meth dropped it down to 12.5. But performance wise the meth did not do much unfortunately. 550-600 at crank or rear wheel? I know my fuel system is maxed. Desired fuel pressure was 2500 and it was at 1700 at peak rpm so it drops off. I wonder if i should put a bigger water meth nozzle in? I have a number 4 nozzle in which is 225 ML/Min. I could put a number 6 in it that i have which is 625ML which is quite a jump. So maybe a 5 nozzle at 375ML/Min
  18. Okay so injectors would definitely need to be replaced too?
  19. I got a 2017 GMC Sierra with a 6.2 and a whipple blower. I was thinking about buying a unlocked TCM from HP tuners to tune the trans. Is it worth tuning the trans? To me it seems like it shifts fast as it is, but I know there is always room for improvement. I know on HP tuners I can buy the TCM unlocked and pre tuned from them.
  20. I Ended up putting the meth kit on. I had it dynoed today, and the meth did not really do anything. I put the correct size nozzle in and set it to come on at 2 psi and fully at 9 psi. Does meth not really work with a lower boost application? I was hoping it was going to help out at least a little. Maybe the truck was starting to heat soak.
