  1. Can you post your tune parameters? How does it shift under load?
  2. They come out to 34.57” unloaded. Not sure about weighted down. I have the six speed
  3. big difference in acceleration?
  4. I loved my duramax, but it was just a toy. I never tow. I lifted it 6” with 35s and with a tune you wouldn’t even notice it. Plus i I missed that gas engine sound and the cost of the duramax makes it probably in my rear view mirror for good
  5. Ok thanks. I think my big modding days are over. I really don’t want to spend that kind of money to make my truck a little faster. Next time I’ll get the 6.2
  6. I have a 4.5” lift with 295s and the 3.09 gears with a diablo tune. I’m honestly pretty disappointed with the power. I know I should have found a 3.42 when I got it. And I’m not going down in tires. How much do do you guys think it would take to have new gears put in? Would I give with the 3.73 that the duramax has? I used to have an LMM and I could have he cruise at 80 going up a steep hill and it would never downshift. Love the truck, just looking at options. Thanks
  7. Thanks guys. I’ll look into them. I guess I just need shocks that are specified for 4 inches of lift? I hate to get some that are too short or long and waste a bunch of money
  8. I have a ‘14 with a lift. I think it’s a zone 4.5. Anyway, my rear wheel wheel well measurememt is 42” and front is 43”. Does that sound about right? i just noticed my rear shock was hanging by only the bottom mount. The shock is completely collapsed so I’m not going to attempt to reinstall it. I habe two questions. Are most people still getting the 5100s or is there something better? Anyone have a part number or link for one with the correct length for my setup? Also, anyone know the part number for the bolt and nut for the uppser connection? It’s gone.
  9. Are there any loose guidelines to adjust shift pressure? mu truck shifts pretty sloppy and pretty harsh when I am getting on it, mostly 3-4, 4-5 shifts. Overall just shifts really sloppy and confused. All i I did was the 87 performance tune, plus 10 or 12 percent throttle response, turned afm off, and corrected tire size. Also so I noticed going up steep hills in the mountains a few weeks ago it really had a clunky shift going down to first up a steep hill. doesnt have the ass to get up hills on the nterstate without going down to fourth. I hate to dog the truck. It’s beautiful and haven’t had any issues outbid it in 6 months. Just wish it would shift more smoothly
  10. Has anyone found a good combination for the predator 2 for better shifting? I have the performance 87 tune, AFM turned off, tire size corrected, and like 12% throttle increase. driving around town like a grandma is fine, but when I get on it, it shifts so horribly from 4-5 and 5-6. The random sloppy shifts down low I can live with, but when I put my foot in it, it feels like im gong to blow the tranny
  11. Thanks. The only reason I guess I have the custom options is because I wanted to correct my tire size and turn off afm (not just load the can tune). Maybe I need to revisit
  12. just purchased the diablo predator 2 platinum. I did a quick simple first run of 87 octane performance, 10% throttle increase, AFM off, and tire size correction. drives fine...easy to install, cant tell a huge difference... i was thinking of bumping up the throttle. anyway, do i need to mess with shifts? It seems to shift fine. will it save my tranny if i tinker with it? which shifts and by how much? i have seen other posts on this that simply say "firm shift on" while mine seems to have each shift point.

  14. I don’t care about gas price. We have plenty of 93 octane here. Is there any drawback to going with the 93 over 87? More power, obviously? I have a 5.3
