Can you post your tune parameters? How does it shift under load?

Are there any loose guidelines to adjust shift pressure? mu truck shifts pretty sloppy and pretty harsh when I am getting on it, mostly 3-4, 4-5 shifts. Overall just shifts really sloppy and confused. All i I did was the 87 performance tune, plus 10 or 12 percent throttle response, turned afm off, and corrected tire size. Also so I noticed going up steep hills in the mountains a few weeks ago it really had a clunky shift going down to first up a steep hill. doesnt have the ass to get up hills on the nterstate without going down to fourth. I hate to dog the truck. It’s beautiful and haven’t had any issues outbid it in 6 months. Just wish it would shift more smoothly

What is meant by trans firm shift? My shifts at times feel clunky and I don’t see how a “firmer” shift would be desirable. I would think it would need to be smoother. Im probably missing something

Well I just hacked off the resonator right over the axle. Added some volume. Sounds great imo. Is this bad bad as in too much heat near the bed and spare tire?

Pretty much can’t hear anything inside the cab. Throaty when you rev it but definitely not obnoxious at all

Removing the cat helped. I like the sound. May still take off the resonator later

Ok the magnaflow alone sounds pretty good but I want it louder. 4x9x18 taking off the third cat now, leaving the resonator on

I’m welding on a magnaflow 18” straight through can today and deleting the flapper. Leaving the resonator for now. If it’s not loud enough I’m going to just cut off the resonator. I’d rather be in that spot than deleting it now and having to weld it back in, which would be much more of a pain. We we will see about the v4 noise. I’ve never noticed it in the two weeks I have had the truck. I am going to get a Diablo tuner and disable it soon though so I’m not worried this thing sounds like a Lexus idling.

+1 or +14 offset. Can’t remember if it’s 5 or 5.5 backspacing
