Picked it up last night.
It's HUGE.
When the installer took it in for alignment it wouldn't fit on their rack. So he knocked off $80 . I'm going to run it into a shop near me that has a big rack this morning . No biggie.
First driving impressions....
It drives great. Way better than I thought it would. It's also not as much of a dog I thought it would be. Actually I may leave the 3.42's for now.
I'll probably change my mind when I hook a trailer up to it.
But for mall crawling it's fine.
Speedometer is way off .
GPS indicated 70 mph speedometer says 59. I'll get that taken care of today with the RC calibrator.
Stopping the beast is something I need to get used to. It takes a lot more brake pedal to slow her down.
I got a little rub on the upper valance. I removed the lower section. So I need to get that trimmed out. I may just do a minor NorCal to the rear of the front wheel wells.
Those little plastic flaps on the front of the rear wheelwells need to go. Not much clearance. I never liked those stupid looking things anyways.
The truck sits dead level.
I'm going to replace the shackles on the rear to get the ass end up another 1.5".
I'm afraid once I hook up my trailer or put some weight in it, it's going to be saggy
I don't do saggy.
That Cali lean/Carolina squat look is hideous. A slight rake on a lifted truck is badass if you ask me. Looks like it means business.
I need to tidy up a few things and I'm good.
I'll get some pics up today hopefully.
Keep the six foot rule guys. I almost got into it with a guy a Home Depot yesterday.
He came walking up to me and I said "Back off Jack" .
He got all offended. To F'ing bad dumbass.
