  1. I'll be honest with you I've always known Kryptonite for the 2500 and 3500 trucks I had no idea they were even making anything for half tons until last week. It really never occurred to me to look. I kind of already had my mind made up I was going to go with the McGaughys since that's the lift I bought then I looked at the cognitos since they have the bolt in ball joint and they are nice but after looking Kryptonite it was a no-brainer their shit is stout. I've had their wheel bearings on a Duramax. Very heavy duty quality. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  2. I just bought a set of Kryptonite UCA's for my 9"lift Top shelf product. ✓ Lifetime warranty. ✓ Bolt in balljoints. ✓ If you want a solid no BS answer ask them. [email protected] I had a couple questions last week one night. I emailed and he answered me first thing in the morning. Here's a link to the best price on eBay . Amazon has some same price. https://www.ebay.com/itm/124017775070 Your welcome.?
  3. Lifetime warranty on Kryptonite parts. No Questions asked. Fox would have their own warranty. That's a good price on that kit too.
  4. I'm ordering the Upper control arms this week. I went back and forth between the McGaughys which have pressed in balljoints and Cognito's that have bolt in balljoints. I then found a thread on here about Kryptonite UCA's the guy (ATXsilverice) was looking for feedback. He wants some UCA's for his 17-18. I did some digging and found these are pretty stout. Lifetime warranty on even the balljoints. Probably going to be at least a month before I get it in the shop to get the lift installed to much going on plus a new Grandson any day now. So my plate is full. BTW it's f'ing snowing here again . Did I mention I'm sick of winter already
  5. I emailed Kryptonite with a couple questions. Got an answer from Josh within a few hours. I'm going to order a set on Monday. The ease of replacing the ball joints sold me. Plus he said they will be coming out with a lower control arm replacement very soon. Even though I only have 23,000 miles I'll be checking my lower ball joints before the lift goes on. I want to thank ATXsilverice for asking about these . I probably wouldn't have even considered them.
  6. That's what I wanted to hear. [emoji123] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  7. I'm liking the Kryptonite's. I really like that the ball joints are easy to replace. And do the ball joints really have a lifetime warranty? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  8. What are you running for a lift?
  9. Probably won't get any cheaper than Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Kryptonite-Compatible-2014-2018-Chevrolet-Silverado/dp/B082YJ98LN/ref=asc_df_B082YJ98LN/?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=&hvpos=&hvnetw=o&hvrand=&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583520389772569&psc=1
  10. I'm torn what to do for UCA 's myself. I have my lift kit and tires 37's (McGaughys 7" to 9"running at 9") sitting here in boxes. But still not decided on UCA's. What are the stats on your lift/tires? Where are you getting everything? I always thought of Kryptonite for 2500 trucks. You just don't see much of their stuff on 1/2 tons. Could be just me not sure That being said they look similar to McGaughys but the ball joint is bolt in. Easy to replace. McGaughys is pressed in. But I think the ball joint is better. Especially if you run it in the winter (salt). Kryptonite is the same price as the Cognito at around $500. I wouldn't be afraid to run the Kryptonite's or the Cognito's. They both look strong. I just can't decide if I want to keep mine all McGaughys or jigsaw puzzle it. Grrrrrr
  11. TV sucks. I got 200+ channels and only watch about 6 or 7 . I got the tv on all day when I'm working in my garage and watch a lot of YouTube. Do a search for something like ice fishing and video after video come on autopilot. Don't like it skip it. Easy . I don't get much done if the videos are good. I also leave it on the weather channel a lot when there's storms. I hate that they name winter storms. Dumb . "Winter storm Henry dumps 3" of snow across central Minn." "Take care it's dangerous out there" That's dandruff around here.?
  12. I've had mine in my 2018 5.3 for 18,000 miles now. Works as advertised. All V8 all the time. Mileage unaffected if anything it got slightly better. The afm is a waste if you ask me.
  13. ^^^I told you guys that tailgate was a joke.
  14. Looks like they finally did the recall for USA. I haven't got anything in the mail but I got the OnStar email a few days ago but just noticed the recall. They must finally have a fix other than pulling the fuse. Ive had my window open once for about a minute BTW. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  15. I finally had a chance to open up the boxes and make sure they got everything. All the parts are here. No missing parts. Yayhoo. Still waiting on the UCA'S. Very stout looking pieces with some pretty nice welds. The u bolts and brake line brackets are unpainted so I'm going to paint them tomorrow. I also picked up my wheels/tires from my Ceramic Coating guy. 3 coats of Ceramic Pro. Chrome looks like a mirror. He said I could probably run them in the salt as long as I keep them clean but that's next to impossible this time of year. I'll wait. It's snowing as I type this. This is going to be a long six weeks waiting on the install. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  16. You are correct. Now I remember that. Both my 18's have those. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  17. What are the numbers for on all the glass? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  18. I switched both of my 18's to led reverse lights, licence plate and cargo lights(third brake light), I believe the under bed rail lights are already led. I just used the Sylvania equivalent from O'Reillys. No problems.
  19. I'm on the fence on these. I guess if you really want a better ride and not a lot of lift , they are the ticket at a price though. If all you want is a 2" lift for a little bigger tire and are happy with the factory ride then just go with a decent level kit.
  20. Lots of guys run that setup . Go to https://www.customwheeloffset.com/ Go to the gallery enter your truck , lift size, and see what fits. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  21. Almost all the pieces are in place. The lift kit has arrived. Still waiting to get the UCA's. I found them $60 cheaper on eBay than Custom Offsets. Also waiting for a confirmation on my install date from 4 Wheel Parts. I'm jacked. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks for your service Guys.?? ??
