  1. Replaced the front left wheel bearings this week at 98,800 miles on my 2018.
  2. Today, I am excited to have paid off my 2018 in 58 months vs. the 72 months I financed it for. However, the current interest rates are keeping me from shopping for a new GMC.
  3. I'm road tripping a 750 mile route this weekend. I have peace of mind.
  4. I took the truck in to have the seals replaced. They were both leaking. My wallet is $1200 lighter.
  5. I will take a look at the vent nipple and line. I made an appointment to get the truck looked at but it's not until June 8. I'm confident I can do this work myself, but I just don't have the time.
  6. I discovered a puddle of rear diff fluid on my garage floor. It appears my 2018 Sierra 1500 drivers side rear wheel seal is leaking. Why me. Truck has 78K on the odometer.
  7. I'm sorry to hear this about your Denali. I had to search non-AFM VVT cam/lifter to learn more about your issue. Hopefully, you can your get your questions answered here on this board, but you may have to find a different discussion board. With my limited mechanical skills, it seems that a valve job is needed on that one head. Perhaps both heads should be serviced? And then consider selling the vehicle. My poor at best mechanical skills allows me to service and maintain my 1979 Wagoneer. It is nothing more than a hobby.
  8. Have you seen the back seats in one of these? Bout as comfortable looking as a 5 gallon bucket.
  9. I wish it had more horsepower. It's 5.3 is blah. But 21 mpg on the freeway is nice.
  10. Went to the garage and did a quick wax/wipe down on my 18. Surprise! nothing broke and no mirrors fell off. I have 9 payments left. It's mostly garage queen. I place the daily commute miles on a 08 Camry.
  11. Continue to keep us updated. I applaud you for doing this work yourself. I wouldn't dare trying to do this type of work on my 2018. Naturally, things would snowball out of control for me. This is how things roll for me.
  12. Why does everything have to be so troublesome?
  13. Keep us posted after the repair is complete. I'm certain you're not the only one to perform this type of maintenance on their GM engine.
  14. OOhhhhh. I see you plugged the CB into your Pioneer AVH-4200NEX. I am trying to determine how to plug the CB audio cable into my stock unit. There is no aux port on the face of it.
  15. Can you go into more detail on how to run the CB audio through the Radio head unit? What cabling is needed? Does the cabling plug into the back of the radio?
