Yes, if you can find them - no tire shops where i live carry them or could give me a date to get them. I found some toyo's and ordered yesterday - they have a better winter rating than the Michelin's which is important for us in Alberta. You probably don't need to worry too much about that in Texas!

You’re correct, Michelin does include it as an option. Others do not even though they do have the 305/45/22 size.

Curious if anyone knows why the 305/45r22 is not a recommended size on a 22x9 rim?

Thanks for sharing this info and photos @typhoon186. Truck looks great. Looks like the 305/45's sidewall protect the rim much better as well. Tread pattern is very similar to the Bridgestone but with extra siping for wet/snow conditions - which is a must for us in Canada. Great choice!

Good point. This is something that is often overlooked in the hunt for a better look/stance. Moving to an LT is fine if you plan on doing the heavy work/hauling/off-roading but if just for aesthetics, I think it makes sense to stay in the P rating (Passenger) for performance. Adding a 50% heavier and harder tire will affect mpg and ride. Nitto does offer a 305/45r22 that stays in the P rating and is only about 3-4 lbs heavier than stock. I have seen on other posts that the 305/45 will fit on stock gm rims.

Tires fit the truck perfectly. Could never figure out why gm puts such dinky tires on these trucks. It was worse with my previous truck, 2019 at4!

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a tire shop that carries the Hankook’s. Looking at the Toyo open country at3’s in the same size. Tire shop recommended Mickey Thompson baja boss at’s but they have a super aggressive look, I am thinking too aggressive! Love to see some pics when you have a chance!
