  1. I have been fighting my seat since I got my TB. Among other issues I agree they seem very firm. I have been adding foam to different areas to try and compensate for places I feel I need some added support to try and alleviate some of the discomfort. I find myself often shifting my body position on even shorter trips due to being uncomfortable. Just this weekend my cousin sat in my TB and first thing she said was how firm the seats are. She has a 2007 Tahoe. I love the TB but having an uncomfortable seats really takes away from enjoying the truck. I have never had any issues with any other seats in all my years of driving. I'm to the point of either trying to get a custom seat shop to take a look at it or even going as far as trading the truck. I really hate to take such a loss this early in owning the truck by trading but things don't seem to be getting better.
  2. Mine causes me lower back pain and up until this vehicle I never had issues. I drive other vehicles to include most of my adult life in the military driving stuff that definitely wasn't comfortable and have no issues with lower back pain so I don't think it is my back. I have tried EVERY adjustment on the seat, steering wheel and my body position. I have over 4000 miles now so I don't think it's a breaking in or getting used to thing. The one thing that helped a lot was a seat cushion. It raised my back to just above the bottom contour of the lower back part of the seat and that made a big difference. I don't have much of an a$$. I don't like having a seat cushion especially for what I paid for the truck but.....
  3. I went to the dealer and drove 2 other Trail Boss's. Both felt the same although the one didn't feel as "off". I think one of the problems is the lumbar is a little low and should be raised a little. Rode in my buddy's King Ranch and the lumbar was higher and had more range of motion. But I still think the lumbar pushes out on the right side of the seat more than the left. I did put a towel in the seam/crack where the top part meets the lower part of the seat. It seems to have helped. And I'd like to think I'm not OCD but....... lol. But seriously I'm usually not this focused on one thing but it's just not comfortable and feels off enough that I notice it fairly frequently.
  4. Did anybody figure this out for the 2019s? On my old truck there was already a footwell light but it was just a tiny bulb and only on the driver side. I added LEDs to both side and just used the existing wire. That worked great. Would love to add footwell LEDs to my Trail Boss that work with the dome lights.
  5. I'm about 210. I have the full console and the seat doesn't touch the console so I don't think that's my issue. I have done things like take a straight edge across the front seat but it seems to square up to the steering wheel and dash. If you look from outside into the cab it appears the seat is "twisted" outward but must be just the angle/illusion since the straight edge looks ok. I did notice the bottom part of the seat angles down/outward a little over a half inch if you have the truck level. The passenger seat is level. Not much of a difference but.... When I ride in the passenger seat it feels "normal". Even support on your whole back. I had test drove a 2017 or 2018 Denali awhile back and the steering wheel was off. Didn't like it so I passed on it.
  6. When you're sitting in the drivers seat you feel the support from the seat on your right side/back but barely on the left. Almost like the seat is turned outward or the lumbar support is inflating more on the one side. I've tried paying attention to how I sit, hand position, leg position etc. I'm leaning toward it's something with the lumbar/padding. When you make a right hand turn it feels like you're falling into the door. Left hand turns you feel good support and don't feel like you're falling into the center console. Dealership is working with me so I can't complain at all about them. Never had an issue with any other vehicles I've driven. Had a couple other people drive it and they felt it too.
