  1. Thank you for this. It took a while but I found the NHTSA number related to it and was able to download the document. GM removed the radio update portion of the recall 4 days before my appointment with no notification. So even though it was included when my appointment was made they didn’t honor it. Hopefully the defrost issue isn’t part of it as I live in the high desert had several inches of frozen snow on my truck this morning
  2. Should it have been included back in October when I first brought it in? I can’t find the specific document that lists my year online. Only the 2023/2024 models.
  3. Hello everyone, I came in for this recall in October 24 and only the serial data module was updated. No radio update was complete. I’m here today to have them do the radio and I am being told the radio is NOT part of the recall and I have to pay for it as my bumper-to-bumper warranty has expired. Can anyone here who works for GM confirm this for me? Thank you. 22.5 Silverado 1500
  4. I may be crazy but... When I first got my truck I pretty extensively played with all the settings. Before the update, I had the option of auto-starting my truck with the seat warmers on or the air conditioning on. There was also no option for my key fob to control my windows. Now after this update, I only have the option of turning the heated seats on during auto-start, no cooling option, but with the added option of controlling my windows with my keyfob. When I first looked into it, I read that only trucks with auto folding mirrors had the ability to also control the windows with the fob, which I do not have. Having that ability now is a welcome addition. Anyone have a similar experience?
