i took off the front grill and plasti-dipper mine. While the grill was off I also installed an LED bar behind the grill

I wound up using the grommet where the antenna cable goes into the cab on the passenger side. Then ran the wire behind the dash.

can you add a picture that shows the route/plug you used to go thru the firewall? that would be extremely helpful

I plastidipped mine, and so far been good. didnt even take them off to paint, just taped around and sprayed 7 coats on them.

will do, will prbably go the vinyl route, just havent played with vinyl in the past. Might have a local shop do it for me. Tonight the running boards go on!

No taped approximately 1" in around the letters right where the grill curves. Then when it dried I peeled away the overspray and it separates right at the letters. So easy!

Yea I found them Amazon pretty cheap, will probably go the vinyl route. Not sure how well the plastidip would hold up there. Not to mention the application my be tougher and call for much more prep.

Thanks wasn’t bad at all. Left the grill on used tape newspaper and drop cloths to cover the engine and area I didn’t want overspray. With the taping 6 coats and peel took about 2 hours to complete. Gonna do the tailgate Chevrolet in black next.
