After installing a 5 channel amp, Ive figured out how to bypass the loud door and turn signal chimes. The only issue is now that the front and backup sensors are louder than the other chimes and is very annoying. I had to turn them off but would like to use them. I noticed that the sound(signal) is coming from a different location due to beeping from the tweeters rather than the doors. Has anyone figured a way to lower the volume?

How annoying is the AFM shutting down 2 cylinders after installing an exhaust on these and how do you deal with it ?

Im sure that it comes from the factory HU. Noticed the same volume was also coming out when Siri is being used on Carplay. I talked to another audio shop and he was confident that he could resolve the issue by removing my Alpine bass knob and using a different knob to the processor instead of the amp and also adding resistors. He didnt explain the actual “fix” and said that he had to look thru the work first but was busy at the time and had to come back next week.

The ground to the amp had been tapped into the body itself, below the seat on the front passenger seat behind the caps. Is there any other possibilities with this issue?

Just had a audio shop install -Alpine PDR V75 5 channel amp -JL cs112tg-tw3 sub -JL fix86 dsp processor Previously installed Alpine type S speaker thru all the doors. Its sounds good but the only issue is the amplified sounds other than music -turn signal flicker, front and rear sensors and door chimes that also amplified. What was the fix for this issue?

Direct. Im gonna be putting in an Alpine pdr v75 with an audiocontrol lc7i and some type of sub soon. As of now I dont hear any lows coming from the tweets.

Ive read that it doesnt add hp or torque but better throttle response. If your truck is equipped with sport mode then I think this is a waste of ?

Correct. I used the 1” alpine s series tweeters and used a bracket to make them fit. I believe the original size is 2 1/4 or 2 3/4 not sure but the pickings are very limited.

No amp. I dont really crank it up like them young kids do now days. Was just looking for better sound quality. My friend has a whole setup with the same speakers hooked to an amp and sub and does sound alot better which ill probably do in the future but till then this will do for now.

Anyone added GM 84176756 to there LT or RST. I know the LTZ and HC came with them in chrome. Wanting to order one then color match mines but wanted to see how would I go about installing this.

Could u post pix of the downpipe and a clip of it too? I have the intake with the dry filter and im considering the downpipe as well. What else is done with your exhaust setup?
