  1. actually don't know what bags they are exactly, it's a wireless one system with bag's the bags might be a variation of the 1000 they attach to the frame and the leaf springs, they look kind of like the ride control bags, I can control them with a app on my phone via bluetooth.
  2. I can always add that later if I need to I have a airlift 1000 on it now with the flip kit, the shop is going to use 2" air bag extenders for it with the lift i can put 5~40 psi in those bags if I need to haul something heavy, there good for up to 2100lbs
  3. well i just dropped $7160 on the cst 4.5" lift, fuel d610 20" wheels & toyo open country (installed) just have to wait for it to arrive they said 2-4 weeks, and 4wheel parts priced matched the cst at $1729 thanks for helping me spend my money
  4. I guess I got the correct one, I initially ordered it off of Amazon but after waiting a couple weeks for it to finally ship they somehow screwed that up and it got returned before it ever arrived and after I waited another week I called and finally got a refund the next day so I just ordered it off ebay for like $3 more and it arrived in about 3 days. I figure it may come in handy sometime after the lift is installed
  5. let's see installed the drivers side o-****** handle got a wheel back that was bent and fixed now routed my bass control knob under the steering column and somehow disconnected a wire on the alarm drove over to the alarm shop to get that fixed and on the way back I decided to take her up about 110 to see if my vibration is gone from the wheel being bent and it is 90% gone in the process sped by a highway patrol and promptly received a ticket for 70 in a 65 (lol, he was cool about it after I explained I was "checking for vibration")
  6. then I am going to have some rear bump stop brackets made and welded on, the originals were cut off for the lowering kit, but that is no big deal
  7. the same one cst, the lift and bilstein 5100's (for now) will run me about $4k installed, I had to order oem control arms that was $500 those are on the way already, then I need a set of end links because when I bought this truck it was lowered already so the control arms were changed and I had to chop some end links for the sway bar to fit right, then the wheels and tires that will be somewhere around $2600
  8. just making sure I am looking at some 20x9 ballistic wheels and 305/55/r20 toyo open country which gives me like 33.21 and should be flush with the edge of the truck
  9. 29? x9 did i read that right?
  10. what size wheels & tires are you running?
  11. lol, that's for a lift kit also, not just the shocks
  12. this is what 4wheel parts quoted me with the optional front skid plate and bilstein 5100's front and rear installed and aligned
  13. are you still able to go thru car washes?
  14. thanks for all the information, I just need to get everything priced so I can figure out how to proceed, i don't want to dig to deep of a hole, lol
  15. so what size tires and wheels are you running with that?
  16. sorry I am kind of a noob on lifts, what is the rear piggyback? and how much was the add a leaf? I appreciate your info, thanks
  17. so what about the front lower control arms? are you using something different from stock then? when my truck was lowered both the lower and upper controls were replaced and the original front coils were retained, so I have to source some new control arms to do a lift.
  18. are you using just the blocks on the back or the deaver j1? whatever that is, and are you using the regular coil over or the reservoir coilover?
  19. the BDS say's it widens it 1.5" on both sides, the CST doesn't? what about the front axle angles?
  20. when I bought my truck it was lowered already by the previous owner but I am considering lifting with probably a 4" kit I am looking for suggestions for a really good kit that will handle great I don't want a sloppy boat I want a nice tight ship i want to go up in tire size but just the right amount so I don't have to use fender guards or spacers, etc.. one shop told me the BDS kit handles well but when I had them look at my lowering kit they didn't seem to be to knowledgeable and this is a shop that has been around here for a few decades. anyway just looking for suggestions, experience?. i drive it kind of hard so it's important that it handles good. 2018 crew cab 6.5 bed 4x4 z71. I will add that the truck will be mostly be driven on road but I want to be able to be able to go off-road within reason not trying to climb moab but just basic no worries if i take the kids off in the mountains.
  21. added some audio, the stock system is pathetic sundown 2.75" dash speakers infinity Kappa 60CSX 6.5" components inifinity Kappa 62IX 6.5" 2 JL audio 10tw3's jl audio RD1500.1 jl audio 600 XD/6v2 piggybacked off of the stock amp output with hi/lo adapters for now the headunit I want hasn't come ashore yet
  22. any noticeable difference while driving?
  23. got a link? my ebay fu isn't working
  24. where did you get the mirror caps?
  25. On my Silverado I really don't see a way to put any resistor the blinker is integrated into the headlight housing I got lucky with the bulb working for just blinker, the bulb sits in a little plastic housing and twist's into the headlight housing, it appears the housing has it's own module inside it's really weird I was able to add higher power HID's and they work without any errors popping up but if I hook it up to a GDS2 scanner it can see the headlights are disconnected/grounded so it causes a code to come up in the bcm, I guess if nothing else works the bt diesel bcm programmer could be used to get rid of the hyperflash
